OK, so in my 15 years of hard core action figure collecting, I've never posted photos of my collection on any message board. The only reason is because I am either never satisfied that it looks right or its a complete mess (95% of the time it's the latter). I have the entire basement to myself for my collection and currently have 1 and 2/3rds of the 3 rooms completed. But it's always a mess and well over half of it isn't even on display or are things I don't need. Well with the kids off for school this week they've been hassling me about being able to play downstairs without stepping over or onto things every time they walk or even try to sit down. So I did a quick dust up of the place and concocted a plan to make my final push to completely finish the basement and get it looking just right. I'm going to post a before and after series of my collection as I work through it. First posting up how it looks now, and show progress from week to week on the forums, and at the same time, clear all of my extras out one box at a time, and only one box at a time, so I don't repeat the messes I continually recreate. Peer pressure on the forums and from my children will keep me from slacking off. So on the next post I will put the before (current) pictures and then update my progress on the first post as I go. As things progress I'll probably put up plans for each new section and I welcome and encourage any critiques or suggestions to make the place look nicer as I can use all the friendly advice I can get

OK, here we go. Starting off with the room that needs the complete overhaul: Room 3. Room 3 is technically the one room of the basement I have to share, as the back third contains the washer and dryer, but the whole rest of it is up for grabs and currently inundated with tote upon tote of toys I need to get rid of or find space for. Other than the changing table with the Air Raiders in room 1, all the shelves were custom made by me (some didn't turn out so well and might be redone), so I'll be able to keep the same colors for wood throughout the three rooms. Room 3 is going to host the majority of the Star Wars and GI Joe stuff (vehicles and army builders) that I currently don't have room for, so they will probably be big shelf diorama areas.

Side shelf I'll be using for vehicles or ditching and rebuilding, not sure yet.

Back corner

Will be ditching this shelf but currently holds most of my loose turtles

ROOM 2

This room is a mix of corners that circle around the furnace and the stairs leading to the rest of the house. First pic is the Simpsons collection, My MUSCLES and Kinnikuman that are out and my DOTA figurines.

The He-Man wing (currently in total disarray as its the kids new hot thing to play with).

The Marvel and comics wing.

Finally the unfinished third of the second room

ROOM 1
This is the only finished room so far that is pretty much a keeper as is, although the contents of the shelves will most likely be shuffled around before all is said and done.

Transformers and Thundercats:

Long overdue for an update. Finally reorganized my battle beasts to how I like em. The only downside is the shelf does not fit the Phoenix so I'll have to find someway to slip it in some how.

Hey, I was wondering if you had or could take a better pic of the custom Laser Beast that looks like Icky Iguana? He has the same color scheme but may even be a different animal. Is it? Just curious and would like to see that one up close if you dont mind :notme:

Great collection by the way :D

It's an anglerfish made by Lazzy Lizard, my favorite of all of Lazzy's customs.

Sweet. I have several of Lazzy's customs too. He has some great talent. I have an angler from him too. he is orange and black with blue armor.

Thanks for the photo.
