The guys who brought us Weaponeers of Monkaa are out with a new line of mini action figures!

Battle Tribes!

Jeremy had a test shot with him at Designercon last year. These little guys are super cool!

They will be on sale at their store next Friday. More info at their Facebook page above.

I really like that they look like a combination of hand sculpted and bootleg at the same time.

I want that crystar mashup!

Hot damn, these are sweet! It's great that they're selling unpainted versions too.

These look so cool! I hope I'm able to get me a set of them when they're released. Just hoping that they do international shipping.

These look awesome and I will certainly get a set. I couldn't help but notice that all of the figures have the same sculpted torso, arms and legs. From figure to figure the variation is solely seen in the head and paint apps. This reminds me alot of the action figures of the 80's; MOTU, TMNT, etc. Surely they pay homage to these lines of our past.

I actually really like these. I think it's great that a bunch of lines are using glyos joints. The only issue at times can be scale. The really cool thing about these is that they will be a perfect size to connect with RotB.

Well, this first run sold out in a flash, but they're moving ahead on the next run and increasing the numbers...plenty more to come!

Spy Monkey's facebook says wave 1 is returning this Summer along with wave 2, other than painted Red and painted Ice Blue from the first wave. Increased production numbers and a 12 figure drop should make these last in the store a lot longer next time.

Also, big price drops on the Weaponeers of Monkaa figures and accessories in the store. http://www.spymonkey...ons.com/?page=1

Not sure how long they will be discounted.

Can't wait for the next wave since I missed out on the first one.

Does anyone have any comparison pictures with the Rise of the Beasts figures? I'd like to see how they look side by side, since I've only seen comparisons or part swapping with other Glyos toys.

New wave Friday July 1st at 9:00pm EST. Pics of upcoming wave are already loaded in the store: http://www.spymonkey...s/battle-tribes

Nice Crystar homage without having to buy two figs to swap, unless you prefer to have it completely unpainted.

Can anyone who owns some of these weigh in on how the dino heads look on these bodies? They really look like a shoe-horned in thing from the pictures.

I have 3 of these from the first wave, and I ordered one of each from the new wave. They are fairly small, but still cool

The triceratops head looks great - it's true that the body has no reptilian attributes but strangely the head works for me. The smaller dino head works less well - the neck juncture seems more disjointed, which is less pronounced with the armor on.
