I've had some time off work lately so have been spending quite a few hours on this.
I first got the inspiration looking through Behemoths collection displays & have been meaning to do my own.

Thought I'd share it on here & hopedully i can spread some inspiration myself. I recommend anyone thinking of displaying they're collection or even some of they're collection to do so as personally it's one of the most rewarding parts of the hobby.

Cheers guys!

Aye you sure got some nice little gems there CC, especially the neon and premium MIMP. ^_^

I like how you've got all the neon boglins together too, they're by far the hardest to come by nowadays.

How long did it take you to accumulate this lot then matey?

Thanks man, yeah I'm pretty happy with my collection so far.

A good chunk of it probably 20% was from when i was a kid & most were in suprisingly good condition. I even found a 24 neon pack of series 2 MIMP in my loft that wasn't even opened (lovely minty neons, that's what we like hey lol?)

The rest I've accumulated over about the last year or so. I've got a decent system in place especially with the mini boglins of buying (taking what I want) & then selling/trading, going on so it's been kind of like a constant circle of movement between collectors which has been pretty cool.

There's a lot of rare MIMP that I'm not even sure are viable options for me to collect unfortunately (unless i get lucky) though for example blue/pink jabberwock, Neon green/yellow behemoth, premium great beasts & absolutely loads of ones like these. As individuals they go for far too high prices.
What do you think about these Ant, or anyone else that has knowledge on these?
How can we really justify paying £40, £50+ for one figure just because of its colour?

Depends on how bad one really wants a particular piece I guess bud, prices vary so dramatically from one figure to the next it's hard to keep track of what's truly rare and what's just uncommon. My NY Bigfoot and NP Windigo didn't cost that much as I got them in a job lot for under 40 quid. When it comes to the Decipher/Shredded Wheat premiums, they're borderline series 3 prices. Yet the one's that weren't included i.e. Hydra, T-Rex, Cyclops and Jotun Troll are just astronomical!!  :o

Series 3 however, I find they still go for crazy prices ten or eleven years after I first really started getting into them yet some are reasonably cheap regardless of sculpt/colour. It's most likely overseas shipping costs that contribute towards the high price tags, and import charges upon arrival in the UK don't help either! <_<

I'll have to show you the one's I've accumulated since 2014, they're mint in their Shreddies packets. Can't quite recall what price for each one I paid but generally speaking it's around $75-$150 (typically the going rate). For loose figures it's usually $50-$100 I've noticed lately. Can't seem to get Amphisbaena or Orobas in the colours I want though, damn frustrating!  :(

Is it just me, or is a green Orobas rare as rocking horse sh*t??  These days I'd go as far to say that it's rarer than a blue one. Anyone else agree with me on this?

Yeah I hear ya, i just find it a bit of a drag when it always comes down to how much are you willing to spend to get something but I know its just the way it works.
Scarcity & high demand = high prices!

Getting a good deal from a large bulk buy is always better for sure. That's how I got a lot of mine too.

The most I've paid for one single figure from my collection is £20 for a slime & most were way less than that.
The prices you mention are far beyond what I would be willing to spend unfortunately (at least at this point) but that's not saying they're not worth it as if something holds its value or hopefully goes up then I can see that being justifiable & a good collectors investment.

Sounds like you've got a great collection, i'd sure like to see what you've got MIMP & mini boglins wise dude in that aladins cave of yours! :-)

Thanks man, I havnt to be honest. Don't think I've seen a black led light for display cabinets but sounds quite cool. I might have to have a butcher's.
