Looking to get rid of these guys. They will go to ebay if not.

Asking $10 a vehicle (The one with the ram I am asking $15),
figures $15 for all (not a missing leg on the white guy and a broken head on the green guy),
playset $15 (with all the accessories),
playdough box $15(all complete with play dough cans, I don't know if it is still good though).

Take the whole thing for $50 plus shipping or the best reasonable offer.

*Buyer pays shipping so prices do not include shipping

Hey!
That's not Playdough,
that's SUPER DOUGH!
Lol!

Also, the child dummy is kinda creepy-cool.
Unless that is a midget. If so, my bad.

I still have my crash dummies taxi. It has taken quite a beating, but still resembles a car. These were some of the most fun toys of my childhood.

I think he is not a child just a fat little toad of a man! It is sad, the articulation part of his leg is his whole leg. Reminds me of cotton hill from King of the hill.

haha I have a whole box full of these guys too, in various states of completion, and the taxi, and the playset you have pictured there. All going to eBay eventually.

I mean, wtf was I thinking as a kid that I wanted these? Why were these popular? More importantly, how did characters from a PSA about seatbelts even get their own toyline?

so many questions.

My friend would set up elaborate scenes with my other toys and throw the car from a great height (usually off the table or my bunk bed) and see what wanton destruction it would cause. It was great fun, and the car took every nightmarish scenario and still is in one piece (despite many of the accessories being broken). So many good memories from that one.

If these were as popular as suggested, then were they the start of the crash and smash toytrend that continues to this day? It seems like just about everything is "collect them all" plus crash, smash, and bash.  Bakugan, Monsuno, Spinjitsu, Speedorz, Bot Shots, Beyblade, Fighter Pods, etc.  These are just some top-of-the-head examples. I know there is a JP line and a PR line in stores now that are similar.

But maybe these crash dummies were one of the first. What is an earlier example?

Not just talking about something that moves, rolls, converts, or has a mix-and-match feature.

Talking about marketing the crash!

Probably goes back to marbles.  And "bones" of course.

Just the male tendency for (or indoctrination of) competition and the desire to construct, deconstruct, and reconstruct.

It's all in there, kid.
