The 1st COLORED Super Rare figure has been discovered! A RED Super Rare Geronimo from Part 13 of the Kinnikuman line surfaced about a week ago in an ebay auction located in New York, near the locations of many other previously discovered Super Rare figures. This ULTRA RARE RED Geronimo is the first of its kind and opens up the possibility of other Super Rares being available in other M.U.S.C.L.E. colors! w00t.gif

Below are close-up pictures of the figure. The first picture is the auction picture and the last picture shows the figure along side its flesh Kinkeshi version...

Incredible!

Why doesn't the auction picture of the eBay watermark?

Also, what was the time frame of this auction? I've been checking American eBay religiously ever since the MCIA needed colors pages were created a few months ago. Can't believe I missed this auction.

Actually, what I do is open the MCIA page and look at the auction for all the GREEN figures, ORANGE figures, RED figures, etc.

I'm not sure how I missed a RED Non-MUSCLE sculpt.

You know, that MAGENTA #141 kind of looked familiar...

Why didn't you just link to the auction page?

Link to auction page...

One bid! Nice!

The picture I posted was the picture the seller sent me to get a closer view of the figure. But you found the auction I forgot to post the link to it...the reason you did not see it was because I had the seller put a Buy It Now on the auction, and then I bid.

Yeah, the seller asked me after if there was maybe a rare figure in the lot. He said he didn't really care if there was as he is not a collector...he was just curious after seeing my collection on Nathan's page. He is also selling me the rest of his collection in storage in case there are any others that he may have, so we will see what he finds!

So did they have red figures in the more current line of muscle figures? what were the trademarks on those? This figure may be rare, but just wondering if it might not be a rare from the newer release of muscles rather than the original line.

Are you talking about Re-Issues? This is definitely not a re-issue. The color is the exact same red as the other Muscles reds I own...The Re-Issue red is more orange than the original line. The tradmarks are also different on the Re-Issue figures. The Muscle figures read C Y/S.N.T B with the C and B circled. On the Re-Issues the B at the end is uncircled.

This Red Geronimo has a cirlced B and all the qualities of a M.U.S.C.L.E. figure.

And I forgot to add, the seller said that this figure most like originated in a M.U.S.C.L.E. 10-Pack, because he only remembers purchasing 10-Packs.

All I wish is that I could find a box load of super rares so I could sell them all to Alex. I wouldn't have to work for a couple years. You'd be sending me your paycheck everyweek. laugh.gif

Finally checked -- my FLESH kinkeshi Geronimo has the spruce mark on the right side of his head, not the right shoulder like this RED MUSCLE.

That spruce mark is actually pretty large too. I wonder if the spruce size has anything to do with MUSCLE plastic?

Also, the two spruce mark locations indicate at least two molds.

Arforbes, can you describe how you first saw this figure on eBay, what it was listed for, starting price, etc., and how you requested that he put it at a BIN.

Like I said, I seem to remember seeing that lone MAGENTA 141. I have eBay set to email me daily about new listings, so it is very likely that I saw this auction.

(There's a reason I glanced right over this auction so quickly, as I recall, and I'm wondering if your giving further details will confirm it.)
