Basically $2 for the three character packs and $5 for the coffins. I considered letting them drop, but my Targets are in very populated areas and clearance items tend disappear fast.

A Target in Wilmington, DE is selling the Christmas and series 2,3 & 4 3-packs for $1.98. Not many 2, 3, and 4 packs left. I finally got my Riled up Riley. Still no Johnson though. There were plenty of the Christmas packs left.

Looks like Targets finally took discounted these to 70% around me, 4 stores were all marked down. I know one store had 3 of the series 4 12 packs but I couldn't find them today.

The Targets in my area have packed away all of the remaining SLUGS and they aren't selling them any longer. A couple stores had tons left yesterday and I was going in today to get some 70% discounts, but they're all packed away. The manager says they can't sell them. Anyone know what that's all about?

I'm only guessing but maybe they made a deal with the remaining stock to sell it back to Jakks or to a discount chain. I would imagine the old stock will end up at Ross or a Dollar Tree.

After the 70% markdown they get trashed. They all ended up in the dumpster; crushed with all the other 70% toys.

That's not what the employee filling shopping carts with discontinued toys told me. :unknw:

That would be pretty horrible, to just throw away new toys when they could be donated or something.

I work in Wilmington, DE and there are several large children's hospitals in the area. I volunteer for one institution and we collect discontinued toys from a lot of stores. As long as they are still in the package the hospital will take them. But I don't have a breakdown as to which stores participate.

Interesting. I wonder if they just go to the nearest goodwill? The lady also had a lego set in her basket that she wouldn't sell me. I'm going to have to stop by goodwill... I noticed my Target got rid of there left over Trash Pack this week too.

I just bought series 2, 3 and the Christmas set over E-Bay (never found them in the wild here in Québec - don,t think they made it, and Target are just about to appear over here) and they came with clearace tag tags from Target.
