[Strontium Dog]

There's been a few mentions of these on the board in the past, but no dedicated thread.

I loved this line as soon as I became aware of it, and in recent months I've been delighted to find old stock turning up in UK stores. I have all 24 of the ordinary sculpts now, which was my main aim.

This is my collection picture from the other day, but I've since got another 20 or so that aren't shown:

The first ones I found were 3 packs in TK Maxx for £3.99, I got some in Liverpool, Birkenhead and Preston. Then I lucked upon a load in Birkenhead Poundstretcher for £1.99.

There weren't any in the Wallasey Poundstretcher, but that's a very small one. I know there's one in Bootle in the Triad, it might be worth a look.

Yup, I remember. I have the 10-piece monster, I got that off eBay too a while ago! Actually, I have 1.9 of them.

All of those 10 pieces are distinct from the 24 different pieces available in the 3-packs. So there are 34 different sculpts, in lots of different colours.

TK Maxx, the one place I never think of going in for toys for some reason - it warrants investigation! Might be heading to Southport tomorrow so I'll see if I can find any there.

These things rock! I got me a nib 10-piece monster and a moc 4 pack (with mystery box). Both were dirt cheap!
I think I paid $10 for the carded pack online at eBay and $4 for the boxed guy at savers.
Would love to get some loose figures one day! Cool idea, just wish they were softer and smaller.

Actually, mine are still in packs so technically I've never held one. They look like a hard type plastic, am I right?

They are hard PVC, very durable and quite heavy.

The only issue I've had is with some of the dark blue ones which have got that mold that you sometimes get on plastic figures.

Hey there - I didn't know about these until you created this thread.

Loved them since the moment I saw them - so had to go out to my local Poundstretcher (Inverness) today and they were there!

I grabbed 3 packs of them - for just £1.99 each - and for this I got 2 visible figures + a secret hidden one in each pack.

Have not opened them yet - will try to get some pics of the packs online tomorrow

Thanks for the info SD, delighted to add these to the collection.

They were also doing a clearout on Ben10 Marbz, Toy Story 3 Marbz and Ben 10 beanz. 10p a pack!! Had a to take 6 of those too.

Might go back tomorrow and clear them out....
