Great find.
Somebody on here could make a killing, buying that, and selling the boots off. Even at fifty cents a piece, you'd make a hell of a windfall.

im guessing 10-12 in the set. so there are a lot of doubles. also i dont remember there being any cool sculpts in there either, other than the NM sculpts kinnikuman with key arm and the four armed guy Black Kung-Fu.

The figures don't seem to match any Parts or Trees, so it's possible something really cool is hidden - but I doubt it. Just a quick scan and you start seeing doubles and triples.

If there are more than 12 different sculpts (as Eric guessed) then I would be stunned.

Sure, but at the starting price of $8.99 +shipping, if you were to sell each set for $5 (less than 50 cents a figure) you'd still make money on the deal. I can't imagine that bag selling for a mint though, even at 4 lbs.

This isn't meant as a joke, would there even be enough buyers that would actually pay that?

I think I may put a bid in on this. I've always wanted a figure of the four-armed guy since I saw him on the back of the 28-packs as a kid, so I guess a bootleg would do. It all depends on how high this gets, but I'll certainly offer some up for sale or trade if I win.
Even though these are bootlegs, I still think its a pretty cool find after all these years. It makes me wonder what kinds of other things are sitting around unopened in a storage unit or warehouse somewhere...

Someone is gonna be stuck with a ton of the same figures!!! I don't think there are enough people to even make the money back on these at this price! plus all of the work of packing and shipping!!

I dont see a good point of winning it or evening placing a bid on it. Theres no doubt whoever wins going to start selling sets for a very long time. Unless they just wanna army of bootlegs.

Looks like Ironoak is going to start army building bootlegs since he's the high bidder?

The question many will ask. Which vendor should I choose. Vendor A or Vendor B?

I dont know... Its probably best to buy both bags to eliminate fierce competition on who sells the cheapest set of boots. Then again Cobwebtoys pretty much soaked up all the costomer the first go around. So someone going to be stuck with shit load of boots.

I've been doing it virtually.

But I don't think you could do it from just one "type."

Ummmmm....That seems like an odd thing to do. I was on the fence about spending money on one bag, and thinking about it now I have no clue what I would've done with them, but I can't imagine why 8lbs of bootlegs with limited sculpts is necessary at all.
Good times.
