I see it the opposite way. You should take the coolest monkey and make him the soldier so you can mini army build. So now my monkey army can have an army. The leader would be something i just have one of that i like but don't love like the slug monkey scientist!!

Damn, you continue to amaze. Will these be readily available when they release, or is it going to be limited? I definitely need to get these guys!

After seeing what you guys have come up with here, I started drawing again and may actually have a go at trying to sculpt some figures of my own. I can't say anything I'd make will come out looking any better than a pile of cat vomit, but who knows, it might be worth a shot!

Honestly, I have nothing to do with the production, with this project. They may decide to do a limited release, they may go all out. I'm sure if enough people make their demands heard, they'd be willing to makes good things happen over at Man E Toys.

As for drawing and sculpting your own stuff? I always try to encourage folks to try their hand, and to keep trying it even when you feel like shit isn't turning out how you want it to. Stick with it, because every piece is a learning experience.

Okay gang, I have some details and an opportunity to present to you all:

Trutek will producing 10 sets of these guys for Toycon, and right after Toycon the Man E Toys store will be carrying an open run of the "Minions" 2 pack (which includes Mer-Mace and Man-and-Eel). The Horde Ape will be available at Toycon, but his single figure release will be held back for the proper HUSTLE: wave 2 release.

Trutek also suggested, and I am paraphrasing, that if you guys are interested that we could do an LRG exclusive color run of these as well... And maybe offer them up as a swing release between the Toycon run and the HUSTLE: wave 2 release... But that all depends on you guys, and the demand.

Honestly, Trutek and I didn't even discuss that part. I'd lean towards making them available only here, but it isn't entirely up to me. If you guys bark loud enough, I am sure he'll listen. So, feel free to hijack this thread to talk about what colors you'd be interested, hell start a poll and vote on it if you want. Let us know what you want to do, and I will do my best to get you information as I get it.

As Jimmy has said, I'd love to offer up an exclusive edition through LRG if enough of you are willing- maybe it's something I could do for all of the H.U.S.T.L.E releases? As for the actual colour, I'm completely open to suggestions from you... Unfortunately neon green and pink are out (although they will be available through Rampage soon), plus the standard M.U.S.C.L.E Flesh, an iridescent flesh I'm using for ToyCon, plus the pictured magnetic red/gold- anything else though, and I'm game!

Still trying to figure out pricing on the clamshell 2-pack and the Horde-Ape single, but I'll post the details on here once they're confirmed...

If we can't do flesh I'd probably really like to see them released in a blue similar to what some of the MIMPs came in. And I would love to see them released here as well. As for any other Hustle releases? Having an LRG exclusive color would be awesome!

There will be flesh available already... So it won't be unavailable, just unavailable as an LRG exclusive.
And yeah, blues are good, too! Like Cobra Commander blue!
