I don't know how far in advance Mapman's travels are planned out... but I will be taking a trip to Indiana in Oct I believe, so a well timed  period with Mapman and I will be able to get some shots of him in both Indiana AND Los Angeles.

There isn't a plan of where Map Man travels, so he could potentially be with you at that time. Unfortunately, I believe he's still having an extended stay with Jet-Mech at the moment and we haven't had an update for quite some time. Saying that, he could also be on his travels as we speak. I know that Jet-Mech has had a lot going on of late, so has struggled to get hi sorted, which is fair enough.

I hope mapman is okay. its been quite some time with no sign, i hope no one offed him. lost in the sand. to never be seen from again.

Yeah, I want to see Mapman in more places. Is he still with Jet-Mech? Looks like Jet-Mech hasn't logged on since mid-June. Hopefully both he and Mapman are okay.

Yeah, last he was with Jet-mech down in Fresno. He was supposed to come up here to Sacramento, but I have yet to see him.

My last contact from Jet-Mech said that he was in the process of moving and finding a new job or something. He told me was sending him to JK at the weekend, which was probably well over a month ago now. I'm disappointed Map Man is stuck (hopefully only stuck and not lost) but I didn't want to keep messaging Jet-Mech during a time when I knew he had a lot on his plate. The biggest concern is the fact of how longs it's been since he last even logged in.

Looks like Jet-Mech still hasn't been on the forum since June. I miss this thread and seeing pics from everyone. Maybe at this point we should start a new figure in motion? Not quite the same but it would still be fun to keep it going.

Yeh I'm truly disappointed! I'm guessing things aren't great with Jet-mech considering how long it's been since he last logged in. Things didn't seem to be going great last time I spoke to him via PM, but I just wish (selfish I know) that he'd managed to post it out to JK like he said he was going to do. Does anyone happen to have him as a Facebook friend? Surely somebody must know him on there? I'd like to give it one more shot before we 'continue' with a new figure. Disappointed

I actually agree with SD in the sense that it kind of defeats the object when it isn't the original Map Man. I'm still gutted that the guy in Fresno completely disappeared from LRG and didn't send Map Man on - something he assured me he was going to do several times.

I've been quite active in seeking the guy out, but everything turns to a dead end and no one on here or Facebook seems to have any other contact details for him

I thought the purpose was to share the experience of Mapmans travels, not give Mapman a soul.  haha.......He is easily replaced.

Ok then, but if we do start again then I think he should be a different colour Map Man (his long lost cousin ha!) I'll still hold out hope that the original returns one day though...
