I got three NY Hydras in one lot recently. One mint, the other two had minor red staining. The same lot also contained an NY Harpy and various other MIMP/Mini Boglin cereal premiums, including a gold cereal Mini Boglin. This leads me to wonder if NY Hydra may have been included as a cereal premium at one point. That was a theory I already had about the NY Harpy after I got three of those in one lot too.

A very interesting theory indeed. It stands to reason that this might be the case based on what you've said. Was this a UK based lot that you won?

I'm actually getting two lots confused, haha. Must be old age. The Hydras were in one lot, and the Harpy in another lot with the gold Boglin, and both lots had plenty of cereal premiums. And then there was that third lot with three Harpies in which was a few years ago.
But yes, all UK lots. Here's the link to one of them, it will give you an idea: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231607243277

If it helps with the research on these, I only started recollecting MIMP earlier this year (after having loads as a kid the first time around) and one of the first lots I bought had a neon red Goblin in it, never realised it was that hard to find.
I've managed to track down which auction it was (thanks to Google sheets keeping track of when you made changes to it!) and it was from eBay UK in April of this year. Think it was Buy it Now so I probably just fell lucky on it newly listed.

Thanks for finding the link. Unfortunately you’ve got mixed up with the rare figure mentioned in the video and what your lot contained, which was NR Gremlin rather than NR Goblin.

The page now redirects to a different listing, here's the picture of the right lot.

Just logged on to say the same as Dfrazzer, eBay's started doing that and it's really annoying. It redirects to an active auction when you're looking at completed ones.
But that's the lot I won and he's over on the left hand side.
And here he is watching himself on the big screen!

Ah I see! Didn’t realise eBay was doing that as I only usually use my app rather than desktop. That’s a great lot then, plus you picked up a red Kali too

He's a nice find as it hardly ever appears on Ebay, I saw two or three in a big Ebay France lot with lots of rare monsters.
