In order to make use of the gold-chrome LB shield repros that I had leftover after buying a set of tokyonever's repros, I've created a new sticker using my templates and printed it onto the same high-quality laser sticker stock used in the lower-12 shields I was previously offering.

 

 

The first shield I wanted it to be unique to the other shields since SG is kind of unique among LBs, so I went with the 'sunburst' concept which I've always assumed was inspired by the 'rising sun' imagery commonly used in Japanese artwork (and ultimately the national flag). Of course you could couple the shield with whatever beast you want, this is just how I decided to display mine since he's already got the gold chrome drill and somewhat matching armor.

 

I then decided to create some designs using adaptations of the vintage symbols:

What can I say, I like making stickers.

Well, I came up with some project ideas for these after selling one, so these are no longer available for sale. Added some pics of what I've come up with so far to the original post.

 

Would a mod please move this to the 'Customs' section? I'm removing the 'for sale' verbiage from the original post and using this to post images.

thanks man, but honestly the limiting factor is the shields themselves. I think I probably have some of these stickers still around on a sheet somewhere waiting to be cut out; the guy I got the gold shields from is long gone though so there's nothing to put them on. I doubt most people have spare stickerless shields lying around

Probably not but still a really nice custom. And the beastformers logo is really cool as well.

Arent they just gold plated plastic?

 

 

You could always buy tokyo-nevers repro set then gold or sliver plate them,same with the sleds.There are kits/supplys on ebay!

Do you have the dimensions for the other shields?.

I mean, yeah I don't think it was implied that they are solid gold?  they are black plastic underneath; the chrome plating came off of them when I swapped stickers the first time, which fortunately isn't visible under the new decal.

 

this thread is just about the stickers I designed for the shields, I have them displayed on the gold chrome as they're the only extras I had after I got a set of tokyonever's a few years ago. but yes I have the internal dimensions for these particular shield molds saved in the templates I created.
