From what I can figure out, a box set with all the episodes (sans movies) and a box full of 418 Kinkeshis! Now something I wanna get for my own birthday!

MEWANTMEWANTMEWANTMEWANT!!!
On the negative side, something like this shows how much Toei cares about Nisei. Meaning that don't give a rat's arse about giving Nisei fans what they want. (Yes, I'm a scorned fanboy, weep for me. >/)
Oh well, STILL WANT!!

I am definitely getting one of these, for the keshis alone!

I wonder what kind of plastic they will be?

1050 yen (about $1000)A few questions you may or may not be able to answer.....
-How much will it cost?
-When is it going to be released?
-Where can I get one?
-Will it be dubbed/subtitled?
Next December
Japan (ne of the bidding services can buy one for you)
Probably not. They are Japanese region DVDs as well. Won't work in a US player.

Bah.
I do think they should include keshis with US releases of any of the Kin DVD's. I think their sales would go up.

But actually Frobman, I think you do get a couple of the movies with the set. When you click the picture of the set, you can see 2 DVD's with the word "MOVIE" in bold letters

Actually, that is pretty damned cheap for what you are getting.
The DVDs, by themselves are $100 per set (2 discs). There are 17 sets (12 regular series, 4 final battle and 1 movie). This contains 16 f the sets, so $1600 worth of DVDs, and a full set of regular series re-issue keshi.
So at $1000, that is quite a bargain.
Yes, DVD sets in Japan are outrageous, but for what you are getting here, the keshi alone are worth the money!

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Well, it's a year away until they're out. Maybe I'll see what my financial situation is like, and get myself a Christmas present.

There are 34 DVDs in that box. If the kinkeshi were 50 cents apiece, then the DVDs would be around $23 each, not $100. It's really too bad that they won't have English subtitles. That really sucks, 'cause I'd be all over this.Wow, $100 bucks for a DVD. I'd expect them to be gold-plated for that.

Hmmm.......I may have to get a credit card.......
Hey guys. What's a quick way to get $1000 bucks without breaking any laws or morals?
Become a Waiter/Waitress, be really flirty to customers for awesome tips, and live off Soda Crackers and water for a few months? XD

KIN = Friday
NI=2
KU=9
From now on, every Friday the 29th of any month will be an official KINNIKUMAN day.[/i][/indent]
Best.Fact.EVER.
...and don't forget to throw in $200 for a Japanese DVD player. Unless you know someone who can remove regeon coding with software that's not intended for that, but allows you to back up your DVD collection.

Too bad February 29th only comes every four years (Leap Year's). It should be an annual holiday!

It just happens to fall on Leap Day this time. All it has to be is any Friday the 29th.I always wondered about that whole '29' thing on Kinniku websites. The more you know...XD
