If you aren't following my Instagram account, you should. :D

Been having some Rise of the Beasts fun with my 3d printer lately, getting things calibrated, sized up and just goofing off.

I was trying to see how they would look as Glyos Armorvor heads, but scaling them to 250% was a bit much (as you can see, ha ha). Maybe 175-200% will work better.

However, 250% seems pretty close in size to work for the Masters of the Universe line.
Here is a comparison pic with "Ichabod Trapjaw. The headless henchman."

Still trying to size out the weapons for the line.

In case you are wondering about the delay for Series 2, it is all on me. I need to get the weapons sized correctly (so I can get price quotes) before we can run the Kickstarter, but life has been so busy the last few months.
Series 2 figures will come with weapons, but we will also have weapons packs for those who want to build their own micro armory, ha! They will fit nicely for most Glyos figures too. :D

Anyways, sorry for the lack of updates/progress posted here. Hope this whets your whistle!

I hope you put the Armorvore head into production once you find the correct scales, it would be pretty cool. Just run them in clear so we can paint them however we like and keep it simple for you!

And I'll take five of that lizard yesterday! :D

This month. Work has been crazy the last few months so I have been pressed for free time.
I have all the info and pricing for everything. Now I just need to put together the Kickstarter presentation.
I had some time in early December but didn't want to compete with Christmas.

Hi all!

I wanted to give you a quick update on the latest news.

We have just sent off payment for the metal injection molds for the first two figures in the line.

In regards to the factory, this is a solid factory with an excellent reputation in our collector group, for putting out top quality figures. It is actually the factory that we would have loved to work with initially. Needless to say, we are extremely excited!!!

In regards to the figures, we are going to be leading off with the Rhino and the Scorpion. The Lion, Ape and other figures will come in later releases. Another major change is that instead of only having articulation at the shoulders, these will have 4 points. Neck, waist and shoulders. Some characters may have an additional joint. For example, the tail on the scorpion is articulated at the base. Note: These figures will scale in at around 60mm tall.

Here are some resin prototypes that we had cast up and black-washed (thanks to Luke at imperfecz).
attachicon.gifscorpion-rhino-bone-1.png attachicon.gifscorpion-rhino-bone-2.png attachicon.gifscorpion-rhino-bone-3.png

We should see some test shots in the next 8-10 weeks and will post more then.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who have believed in this project from the start. There have been a ton of snags these last two years but we are now within a few months of having this dream become reality. You all ROCK!!!

Love these, are they still available?

I know you can get some from this store - three different colourways, $8 each:

Not sure if the LRG store is functional (jkaris is still around at least!) but the original painted figures and some glow ones are still there. No idea where mine are now but I had all the initial releases, several I guess I never got!

Hi Graham!

Welcome to LRG.

As mentioned, I have a few left up at the store.

Life got busy, so I haven't really done much in the way of these in a while.

I know McCTX toys still has some of their colorways as well:

https://mcctxtoys.storenvy.com/

I do have some hand-cast limited release Series 2 figures coming at some point, once the guy casting them can fit them into his schedule.
