Well, you may look at this and say, "why did it take so long?!" Well It really didn't take long to begin with. So here is what I had to do.
I First Sketched him.
Then I Scanned and printed the Sketch so I wouldn't mess up the original.
Then I Inked and Colored the Print.
Then I Scanned it again. (Sadly the Scan looked terrible. The colors were very light.)
So I decided I could fix it better in Paint. (since that's all I have.)
So I then proceeded to Completely redraw over the original scan in Paint.
Then I had to Completely recolor it in Paint as well. Unfortunately the fill tool is very limited in this regard, so I had to Use the Paint Tool to Recolor every square inch of the image. Even the background.
So it took me about 4 or 5 times longer to repaint the image than it did to draw it freehand.

But anyway, just thought I'd explain the work behind it. It's nothing special, but after doing all that stuff i didn't want to miss the contest.

The original .BMP was over 10 megs, so I had to change it to .JPG....which doesn't look as good.

Hope it's a fun entry. I had a hard time deciding on the final color of his cape.
Thanks again for the extend John.
