We often talk about what are our favorite figure, the best figure, and even our least favorite figure. Now it’s time for these figures to battle to the death. We’re starting the 1st official LRG Tournament. The first tournament will feature M.U.S.C.L.E. figures with the simple question, “Which figure is better?”

The figures have been seeded based on LRG threads and administrator discussions. If this tournament is a success, then we’ll try other lines, figures, and toys.

Each week we’ll list a new game. The board will be given one week to vote for the winner.

I have attached a bracket that shows each region of the tournament. If it’s anything like the NCAA tournament, you’ll have his bracket filled out and on your fridge.

Here’s the first game:
Number one seed #153 vs. the number sixteen seed #221.

I went with #153, the Claw will be hard to beat. It’s a great toy, a great figure, and just has a great look. #221 while nice, just doesn’t compare.

I went with the Claw as well. Hard to beat a big warty hand with fangs.

Yes, I went with #153 hands down...

No, seriously, even people who don't collect MUSCLEs know about the Claw! Definitely one of the most creative sculpts to come out of the Kinnikuman storyline!

This is actually one of the least favorite Sunshine sculpts for me, seems kind of boring compared to the others. I've always been a Claw fan though so this one was a no-brainer for me!

Speaking of which, maybe someone should set up one of these for Battlebeasts! I know for a fact that there would be many close matches with them.

Snigator superior, Sunshine inferior. Although this is one of the few battles where a Sunshine figure has a chance of losing, methinks.

Although I love sunshine, this is one of my least favorite sculpts of him. I'd go #3 for the best sunshine fig. Sadly when pitted up against the claw he has no chance. 153 all the way baby!

Much as I love Sunshine (hubba, hubba!), the Claw looks way more badass.

It dawned on me that if we do this once a week it will take forever, and basically suck. From now on, I’ll list a new game every couple of days. Check the board daily to make sure you don’t miss out.

Maybe this shake-up could lead to some unexpected upsets too?

Region 1, Round 1, Game 1 Winner:
Number 1 Seed, Figure #153
