I'm pretty sure that's just how Wild Planet is shipping them now. Stores just get a case of whatever. Sometimes it's two each of several different lines, sometimes it's just like 8 dragons. It would be true to form regarding their apparent apathy over their own lines.
Incidentally, i found a Monster Maniacs egg clearanced to $3 at Target the other day, and turns out it rang up $1. I was pretty excited until it was the same stupid guy with a hole in his torso i've gotten the last three times.
As far as I know, Target closed all of theirs out, and when Target wants it gone, they want it gone! Once they put an orange clearance tag on it, they often won't tag it again when the price falls off later on, so if you think you
might
be willing to pay the stickered price for it, you'd best scan it to see if it's even cheaper...you may end up clearing off the peg/shelf! Not that
I
have ever done that.
That odd-lot shipping makes sense. I just got back from a Walmart, they had four DM on the shelf I picked up two (the price went up a dollar!), got a Vrad and a Skirmish! My first acid, but my second Vrad.
FYI, as near as I can tell, the silver eggs seem to give a good chance at pulling an ultra-rare. and the two gold eggs I have found BOTH had ice dragons in them. Anybody else notice this? Also, anybody else seen the penned-on product code numbers written on the clear wrapping under the colored wrapping?
