Because of the mad price situation of series 3 MIMPs on ebay right now I was wondering what a color defect series 3 MIMP would end up.
Such a figure would be unique and a series 3, so it is the perfect combination of rareness. What do you think, for how many $$$ would it go for?

It's hard to tell. I think people are just buying any series 3's they can find. Not because they are serious MIMP collectors or that they have any knowledge on what is rare and what isnt. I'm think that, unless it was stated that it was super rare, the people who are buying them now would just view it as a regular series 3 figure and nothing special.

Kind of like a situation where, lets say, someone buys a blue Abominable Snowman for $90 instead of buying a purple Abominable Snowman for $95

But then again, if its listed as being more rare along with why it is, people might pay more for it.

This auction should go for higher than other auctions with Amphisbaena in it. Right?

I also noticed the purple Amphisbaena on ebay, I wonder how much it'll sell for? I have a pink Amphisbaena, but none of the more unusual series 3 colours yet.

It should go higher but because of the horrible describtion I think it will go straight.

2 Season 1
6 Super Creepy
2 Headed Rare Figure
Rare Skeleton Dinosaur Figure
7 MUSCLE Men

quite amusing

I've seen and heard of Series-3 figures selling for less than $12.50 apiece (for the 4 more-common colors) to more than $450 apiece (for the 2 rarer colors)

Yeah, when I bought an unopened, blue Jimmy Squarefoot figure and an unopened Big Boy Secret Monster Pack, with purple Abominable Snowman included, a few years ago I remember spending less than $15 a piece for them--and remember thinking at the time that I felt silly spending "so much" on just a single figure! Who knew that a few years later they'd be going for ten times as much!

And that was at a time when there were almost no series 3 figures being sold on eBay. These days it seems like a new one is listed every day, yet the prices are still astronomical.
