Both of these figures had decisive wins. Here’s the first game of Round 2 from Region 1:

Finally, Round 2! The Claw wins easily this time, I think. #73 is a cool figure, but just doesn't have the unique awesomeness of the Claw.

I don’t think I’ve had an easier choice. #153 is simply in another league.

This is reminds me of the NCAA tournament. Some small school squeaks by the first round, then faces a powerhouse and gets blown out.

I don’t think #153 will have a tough game until maybe the final four, or even the championship. Hell, he’d probably be a top seed in a general action figure tournament.

153 is just such a unique figure I have to go with him. He'll be a tough one to beat.

: CLAW :. Or should I say : TyrannoFoot :?

"Mildman Overbody of the Big Budo" just isn't interesting enough to me, not as a sculpt or as a character.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!! I was hoping these would be the last two figures in the tournament because I really did not want to make this decision. Like I said during his tournament once I got ahold of #73 it was all over for my other muscles. He quickly became champ and very rarely lost the title. He was and still is a really awesome figure. IMO one of the best sculpts in the whole toyline. Then... theres the claw, who doesnt effing love this figure? I mean pretty much everybody does. It is super unique, fun to play with, fun to touch boobs with and make wifes mad, fun to paint, fun to sculpt, fun to have extras of, fun to have duplicated by TGB in a variety of colors and uniqueness. This decision is te toughest I will endure throughout this whole tournament. After this vote, nothing else matters to me (although I will still continue to vote cause this is fun and Veers is dreamy ;) ) Seriously though, this one sucks and I wish these two were not against each other because I know by tomorrow one of my very favorite sculpts will be out of it. After some long tought, a little crying, and a tuna fish sandwhich. I had to go with the CLAW!!!

Kind of stupid, but I think about it everytime I say the claw, but have any of you seen the movie "Liar Liar"? When the mom's boyfriend tries to immitate the dad's claw game with the kid. That is so funny. "Argh everybodies afraid of the claw grrrr." but he failed miserably and at the same time hillariously.

I don't think I voted for the claw in his first round, but this time it's a no brainer for me....I'm kind of getting tired of reading and posting that. :D The Claw has more going on for sure. If the Claw didn't have his bumps he would be kind of weird and less fun I'm sure. But the claw will take mildman anyday of the year, with or without my help. ;)

And so Round 2 begins - one game, a very difficult choice between two nice sculpts, another destined to become a ridiculous landslide in favor of an iconic and fan-favorite sculpt. Which one do you think this game is? ;) Sneagator, go on with your bad self!

Aside from Doc’s comments, I doubt anyone sincerely voted for #73. I’d write them off as joke votes.

Keep in mind some people will vote against the claw because they simply don't like the figure. However I don't like 73 either so at least 153 is a winner. I expect to vote against
the claw next round.

My thoughts as well. Im not a fan of theClaw sculpt but i dont hate it. I voted for the CLaw in this match solely because of the facial expression (which isnt saying much). He was simply the more exciting of 2 average sculpts .

Claw is interesting for being a hand with a face but that doesnt go very far in my book.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

Well its 153 and i'll tell you why....

Twas a day like any other in the life of a 6 year old, that is until i stumbled across a new toy display in the local John Menzies Toy department. I had never seen anything quite like it before, little 4 packs of wrestler like figures, monsters and generally weird looking creatures. And then i seen the ten packs. I remember running right up to my mum and asking if she would buy it for me (thats right, kids in those days actually asked, rather than demanded things) and upon opening them i was in awe at the small collection of the strangest of toys i had ever seen, pink toys!

The one that stood out from the rest was 153 (or Dr Claw as i named him. An evil genius type character). I took my muscles to school and roped in anyone who would listen to collecting them and from then on i have never looked back.

153 was the in my first ever muscle pack i ever purchased and i can still remember with melancolic notsalgia the minute i first laid eyes on him. He is awesome!

i like the other one too, but he doesnt have such a memorable story.

Well the first time I ever saw him I thought it was a close up of the hand of another figure and thought it was cool that his cand had a face and stuff then when I saw it was a figure I thought it was kind of boring. Sure it's unique but I just think a big claw is pretty dull. He just didn't seem to fit into MUSCLE = /. People are probably gonna flame and argue with me but it's subjective and the claw is winning anyway =P.
