Looking for Japan Keshi List
#1

Been googling trying to find a site with all keshi released in Japan.
I see there's one here but it's in a different language lol is there anything in English?
Looking to collect and would like to see other keshi I don't know about and also a complete checklist
of each series.
Thanks

A complete collection... of each series? As in, every single set of keshigomu that has ever existed, in every franchise. For decades?
Good luck?

Finding information on some of these lines (even the more popular ones) can be challenging. You'll probably need to research each line and try to track down a checklist or image gallery for each different keshi line that you are interested in collecting. There are quite a few checklists on the LRG site for some of the toy lines that have large followings. For example, toy lines that have their own board category devoted to them. For some of the more niche ones I'd suggest reaching out to other members of the community who may have compiled lists for some of the more obscure lines. Best of luck!

Just a guess, but maybe you mean kinkeshi (as in Kinnikuman keshi)?
Keshi is a general term for small rubber figures from Japan, and there's been tons of keshi lines released over the decades--more than could ever be compiled in one place.
As mentioned above, even comprehensive archives or lists of individual lines can be really hard to find, unfortunately.

I actually meant keshigomu, just wanted to know if there was any list of some kind! That's all. I had no idea that some and or all were impossible to find a list for. I'm interested in Dragon Ball, ultraman, super Mario bros & Godzilla, just to name a few.
Sorry if I offended any collectors with my so called annoying post.
Peace

For specific keshi lines that interest you, your best bet is probably to search here to look for threads that have photos and information on them. I've found websites focused on keshi to be pretty much non-existent, especially in English. I created the Neclos Fortress Collectors Archive website but I don't know of anything similar for other lines.

There are keshi of all of those properties.
Honestly, as far as checklists, there are far too many keshi lines that have been produced by too many manufacturers over too many years, for there to be a comprehensive catch-all list.
I'm with Frank, and suggest peeping around the LRG keshi section and asking questions when you see something that strikes you.

Who on earth would think this thread annoying? A bit naive, sure, but certainly no nuisance or worth deleting. It's just the kind of question that should go into a FAQ or something, so other new collectors don't get the wrong idea that keshi is so easy to catalog or collect without narrowing down one's scope.

Unfortunately there really isn't anything in English.
And most sites that do track them only have a few different lines.
Here are a couple that might help:
http://www.din.or.jp...emia/index.html
Kinnikuman
http://www.geocities.jp/sdjadou/
Kamen Rider
Ultraman
Gundam
NES/Famicom lines, etc.
I hope this is what you were looking for. On a related note, we sometimes forget that we were all new to this game at one point or another and what is second hand knowledge to us now used to be stuff we had no clue about.

A little disappointed at some of the snarkiness in this thread. :-/
Anyways, my method is to search "消し" along with whatever series i am looking for in Japanese on Google and Yahoo Japan. That will at the very least turn up some pictures that would otherwise not pop up on an English search.
I do the same searches on yahoo auctions too just to get an idea of what figures are out there too.
