What Character Family or TV Show is the toy vehicle pictured (and tiny man in silver driving it) from if anyone knows? 

 

Approximate vehicle size is a square 4”x3” inside Clear 16” Sphere.  Purple & Orange.

Purple vehicle has one orange tread that rolls down the middle of the vehicle from a larger wheel over a smaller front wheel.  Vehicle’s tread moves and thus the clear sphere housing the toy around a room and bounces off walls to do a 180.  It used 1 AA battery and was like the energizer bunny meets the Axlon Petster Hamster, but looks like a futuristic space vehicle and in one spot read: Tonka © 1986

 

 

 

If anyone has a clue I would love to hear your thoughts.  I keep looking in annual Tonka catalogs from the 80s but have not come across it yet.
