Long story short, I was able to track down 5 more bags of Korean MUSCLEMANIA bootlegs. 2 bags are of the same colors and sculpts I found the last time. But 3 bags have some new sculpts! And the color shades of the two sculpts from the first set are slightly different too.

So I can now confirm that Korea had released 12 different MUSCLEMANIA figures in some sort of capacity back in the 80s.

I plan on selling all of these as I only care about collecting Kinkeshi and not this line. Still debating between a few things like how to piece them out, and whether to just set a price of have some fun with auctions.

Anyways, thought you guys would appreciate this discovery.

My main debate is if I want to sell each sculpt in all four colors in separate auctions. Or if I should make sets with every sculpt but with the same colors.

Or do I just make one auction/listing with all sculpts in all 4 colors? haha

decisions decisions

Or 4 sets with equally mixed colors.

Each set of 12 sculpts will have 3 in yellow, 3 in pink, 3 in green, 3 in blue.

Agh, I see what you mean. Another good idea! I don't think I'll have time to post anything until this weekend so I have some time to think and see what people on here think.

I'd probably go for a set if it included one of each sculpt in mixed colors.

thanks for the feedback!

Only problem will be down the line when I run out of colors. Like, for some sculpts there will be like a mountain of yellows, but only one or two for the other colors. :-/

Wow, thanks for sharing these. I'm going to steal these for UofM. I hope that's ok. ;)

You can sell them however you like, but here's my suggestion - If there is a set of the original 12 (in new colors), then just sell them as a set. It doesn't have to be a perfect distribution of color, but it should include one of every color.

Steal away :-). I was hoping this info would get passed along to your site actually.

And yea, I think making sets of the 12 sculpts in the various colors is the way to go. Seems to be the consensus so far.

Just debating if I want to do auctions or just list a bunch of sets as BIN OBO. Open to advice from everyone on this one too.

Auctions give everyone a fair shot, but BIN OBO is easier for me since I will have a bunch of sets I can put together.

yup, same material as the others. These are a bit more transparent than the last batch too. I also have new sets of those old batches as well. It's gonna be a busy weekend haha

First set is up! Priced em the same as last time which was $4 a pop. Just made an ebay listing since it's easier and I can't really hold stuff for people until I move.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks again for the support everyone :-)

None left. Sorry :-(

I could maybe hunt more down for ya if you want. Would end up being like 4 a pop if I found em again though.
