The three yellow guys on the white couch segments below the three green army men are Homer, Maggie and Bart from The Simpsons. I used to watch that show alot whenever it came on.

I'm sure they knew who the Simpsons were, hard to miss the longest-running American television show and something merchandised like crazy in virtually every country
