I went with Army Ants - General Mc-Anther. Both figures are very kewl, but the Army Antz figure just has a better look/feel to it.

general mcanther all the way! this was my second favorite army ant. i somehow wound up with two of them. i think i found one in the park. i wish i new were they all went.

General Mc-Anther has a pipe. Kevin has a lame paint job. Mc-Anther for the win!

A toy modeled after the real General MacArthur ? ...kind of hard to say no....

Mask strikes me as a toy that has all of the prerequisite "cool" late 90's elements but is missing the charm.

Well, I like this Kevin Mask sculpt, but the Army Ant is freakin cool too!

Both are based off of a previous person or character as well.

I'll go with the general due to it having more originality than Kevin.

I am liking this Army Ant a lot - one thing i have noticed, which is not at all clear when you see auctions with a load of Army Ants, is the personality and character each ant has. This allows for great playability - heck their expressions and stances even depict how they would sound when they talk. If these guys were not so hard to find with all their bits complete i would definately collect them.

The thing is.... I voted for Kevin Mask. Perhaps, aside from Kid Muscle, he is the one Ultimate Muscle that you can easily recognise as being directly related to the original line of figures. His mask is, as far as i am concerned, as iconic as musclemans spike mohican mask thing. i really like the pose of this figure and i think the Kevin Mask figures are some of the coolest ultimate muscle scuplts in general. I could not possibly count the number of times i have picked this guy up and examined him. You know what i really like? It's his mullet hair sticking out from behind his helmet at the back and the little hair ponytails poking out the front. He is a badass intergalactic wrestler. With his armour on he reminds me a bit of demolition or legion of doom which epitomizes wrestling for me.

I am a huge fan of the Ultimate Muscle figures - In fact i like the fact that they are not really like the original line and they are, for the most part, very detailed and include a huge array of weird characters. I love how there are so many new characters in the series and they were not just new sculpts of the original muscle line. I know some who do not care for them at all, but i think they compliment the muscles we all know and love very well. I just wish there were more!!

good luck finding one with the pipe. army ants are usually only complete to a ratio of 1 in 10.
