So I was in London 2 summers ago and saw but passed on buying Alien Magic Fizz and Find.

Reason? They were 10 pounds each at Hamleys which at the time was US$20!~

Since then I've been trying to find confirmation online that they existed, and finally today discovered it!

http://www.ozbozz.co...gic/default.asp

The "step by step" link shows the figures available.

Of course, I've never found a single place online that still has them, even UK only retailers...

Still, it's a nice set and would be great to see in the US eventually.

I think you mean the Points link, not the Step by Step link?

That webpage was posted ages ago in the Dino or Dragon Magic threads, and I'm not sure what its existence proves?

I'm just going to state for the record right now that i will never spend money on another Fizz and Find line. If i ever show up here and am like "Hey guys i just bought a bunch of eggs!", i give any one of you my permission to come over and slap some sense into me.

LOL! Sorry, I must have missed it as the Dino Magic thread is huge!

Basically, for me, I'd only seen them in person and not having bought any didn't feel like I could confidently say anything without at least some proof that they existed!

But more importantly, has anyone actually bought any...?

A discount shop near where I live has just got these in this week, for £1 each. I got two of them, and they're nice little monsters - imaginative designs, that's for sure! Accidently flushed the middle bit from one of them down the sink, but this being a Moose line there's bound to be duplicates at some point.

Here's the two I got today:

It might still be in the grease trap! (U-shaped bit directly under the sink) Not sure if you care enough to go after it, but they're usually designed to be relatively easy to remove.

Well, after a fruitless lunchtime, I can tell you where they're NOT being sold:

Home Bargains
99p Store
Poundland
Poundworld
The Works

So I guess they must be appearing in random odd independent discount stores if the chains don't have them. Bah.

Yeah, this is an independent place that's been there since 1986. I've had all sorts of wonderful things from there over the years (they used to sell the Mini Boglin 10-packs for 55p!).

Going by the box... There's only 18 available, but you COULD argue it's an infinite amount, as you can swap around all the pieces and so on. The shop's ran out now! He's getting a load more, hopefully next week. HOPEFULLY.

After spending literally HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of pounds on these things (well, around £30-odd), I now have some spares available for trading!

If anyone's up for any of them, just let me know. I'm up for cheap & nasty dinosaurs and monsters, or Liceplant and Plutor from the Trash Bag Bunch...
