Yeah that looks pretty nifty too!

And yeah, sorry, but these are just pics taken with my cellphone.
Apparently my brother's scanner (which I wanted to use) broke down about 2 months ago,
since he hardly ever used it, they won't be replacing nor fixing it,
and me, I am constantly broke, due to my obsessive compulsive buying behaviour
on this very site!
...so...


I'll try to post comic #2 tomorrow, but no promises.

PS to FanTomCore: could you color them in completely, like say the cover??
Don't feel compelled to do so, because I realise that would be a MONSTER task,
but cool if it would get done...

i was thinking to color them, but its more effort then this really requires, might touch them all up to look more presentable like the above example, but even that is a bit of effort on my part. might be a waste of time if i ever acquire all the comics on ebay or here one of these days, then i can do high quality scans, but in the meantime i look forward to atleast reading up on the stories.

im seriously contemplating going for it and coloring all these in, but if i do go there, DK77, just be ready if i have a page that is too hard to work with and ask that you might need to re take it so its more flat, most pics look like i can manage but i did notice one or two that were hard for me to do any kind of image editing.

Plus... I might take my sweet time re-taking them
I already need to take almost half the pics twice!
(that is, after uploading them to my pc, because I only see enough detail
once on my pc to see if the texts are readable or not!)

Would be nice to see them in color though, that's for sure!
Have fun doin' them, that's the most important!

i would redo the text because its too hard on the eyes, i thought to make it more readable for everybody aside from its being in color, no point trying to keep everything original.

I'm directing a documentary film at the moment called 'Cuttlefish Country' and was looking for images of Cutthroat Cuttlefish... seems I've stumbled upon the motherlode! Thanks for sharing these Dmitry. Do you have a scanner? If so, would you be able to scan a selection of pages for me in higher resolution? I'm happy to discuss a trade or exchange for the service... the documentary film budget is super-lean, and all coming out of my own pockets. Obviously there would be a film credit for you in it, and we do intend to distribute the film internationally to film festivals and TV stations... you can find out more about our project at CuttlefishCountry.com
