I'm back in the UK and reconnecting with my collection. I kept the monstercollecting website going for a while during
my hiatus but eventually forgot to renew it and it died a death. However, I've still got really fond memories of that time
and made a tribute over on Instagram at monstercollecting.
I'm really impressed to see all the things that have happened in the community and a lot of people still actively
collecting and passionate about the toy line! What a testament to all of you. I understand there are multiple platforms
for raising awareness, trading, selling and buying Monster in my Pocket now. It's really awesome! To note Behemoth's
website, Facebook page: fever, bigburty's Facebook page: market and Paul Sewell's Instagram.
While I'm back, I'm the process of resurrecting the website as a reference and as part of a nostalgia trip. I hope some
of the old crowd read this message because I'd like your help to contribute to an idea I've got. Previously a lot of
collectors contributed photographs to help build data of sculpts and colours. I'd like to show tribute to you all on the
main page. So here's the request:
If you submitted any photographs to monstercollecting in the past would you be willing to share a photograph of
yourself with your collection or holding your favourite sculpt? I'll attach my example later. I'll probably go for a
standard pose but creativity is encouraged.
I'm hoping eventually we will have a collection of photographs of the community and how we came together,
building bridges across land lines and cultures over a toy line! It was really a great time. Give me a reply if you're
on board and I'll take it to the next step!
