so whats the time frame on this then? how long does the offer have to be up before you sell it? i think there's supposed to also be guidelines for a time frame in a situation like this if you're selling it here.

Agreed. Obviously you want to get as much as you can for it, so you should either start a board auction, or put it on ebay and share the link here.
