Could someone please help me identify these plastic figures? They belong to the same series and were purchased from a party supply store in 1993.

 

Markings: CHINA

The sculpts are clearly Super Mario related. With their cheap appearance and finding them in a party supply store, all but certainly bootlegs of some line.

I got some of these on the card just yesterday. Definitely bootleg Mario figures. According to the card, there's 14 in the set.

Originally these were board game figures in japan. There are a few Board games that came with similar figures. Ive seen these bootlegs before, but not painted.

must be an early bootleg. rip van fish only was in super mario world.  Super mario world  released in japan in 92.
