gundam bootlegs.
How can you tell they're bootlegs? Were the original gundam gumball figures? Any more info on these would be greatly appreciated.

These are molds long known to have been bootlegged as party favors, especially in this particular glossy finish, but have appeared elsewhere too. The finish, material (these have a kind of hollow or light feel, based on their appearance, right?), lack of copyright information, terrible sculpt detail and distortion all confirm their status as generic bootlegs on top of that knowledge. If there were 1:1 sculpt matches to these in Japan, the authentic ones would be made of one of the common Japanese keshi materials and in standard colors without the glossy, metallic appearance.

Thanks for the info. Sorry for the very late reply but i would not say that they are hollow or light feel. They are about as dense as the authentic ones same weight too except the material is a bit more flexible or bendy. Still not a a common Japanese kenshi material eh? Drat. I was hoping they would be worth something.

They looked like similarly molded cheaper rotocast-type figures, but yeah, even though yours are actually dense, their origin is absolutely as cheap bootlegs.
Real Gundam keshi would indicate manufacture by (generally) Bandai and copyright info of some kind for Sunrise.
