I've 3D scanned the complete set of five Super Mario Bros. 2 figures from Japan. These retro keshi figures were released via gachapon machines and were were part of a run of keshi that Bandai released in 1993 for "Super Mario Collection" (the Japanese title for the "Super Mario All-Stars" Mario anthology remaster collection released on Super Nintendo).  They came in orange, green, blue, yellow, and peach.

Almost all of the keshi in the Super Mario Collection set were just reissues of the Super Mario Bros 3. keshi Bandai had released in 1988, however these 5 Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka Super Mario USA) figures were completely new.  The Wart and Birdo figures would be later reissued in a solid gold rubber, and at a slightly reduced scale, in Bandai's 1996 "Super Mario Graffiti" keshi set.

After scanning them, I built out this little 3D scene and painted the model files:

These are really cool! I wish they'd done more of the characters, like the now-forgotten Porcupo.
