[Beastformers]

For all the old collectors who're still active here and not on Social Media I was asked by Jay McManus (aka LRG Member Retroactive80z) to post about the fact that he recently sold his entire Battle Beasts Collection.

The Battle Beasts Collectors out here for a decade and more will probably know about this collection. It recently found a new home because it's purchased by Killer Carp a "newer" (compared to Jay) collector who also decided to document this purchase.

It gives all of us BB Collectors and fans a Unique Insight in how such a large collection moves from one collector to another. Often this happens behind the scenes but this time it's all out in the open and documented!

Watched the video last week, figured a guy with a collection that extensive was someone here but didn’t know which person. While a bit clickbaity, very good and a nice way to appreciate the full perspective of such a massive collection changing hands.

It's great to see how the LRG collector community has evolved over the years into new media avenues. Thank all of you guys for keeping the nostalgia alive!

Gotta keep this video away from my wife lest she finds out how much those things are worth now.  

 

Also found it nice to see that the Godbeast customs have staying power in the hobby.  I never considered those things customs and wish I had the whole run.

The ¨HYPE¨ around this was one of the main reasons for me to consider not posting it on the Beastformers Blog for the reasons mentioned in the Disclaimer I added. Also the fact that the collection was purchased with the intention to resell most of it didn´t help because I think we´d all have preferred for it to stay together but there´s nothing we can do about that sadly enough. If it were someone else´s collection which wasn´t known by me it´d not have been posted but in this case with it being from Jay which who I´ve had a lot of BB discussions, mainly here on LRG, and did various trades in the past the pros outweighed the cons.
