Hi all, I'm hoping someone here recalls a strange toyline from around 2008. Unfortunately I don't have photos and I never actually owned any, so I can only offer a vague description.
The line consisted of these little balls or orbs with printed (not sculpted) details. I don't think they had faces, just printed patterns and armor. They weren't cartoony designs, anyway. The balls also came with swords, axes, and other melee weapons. I think the weapons were gold. I know there was at least one large playset and I think they were sold in boxes and multi-packs. They must've had a wide enough release in the United States because I remember seeing them at Wal-Mart/Target.
I'd appreciate any info about this toyline! I think about this toyline every few years but I've always had a hell of a time trying to identify it.
