Any interest in these? I have a buddy that wants a set of customs, and I wouldn't mind a set myself. But in order to get TGB to make some, there has to be a minimum order.
So, anyone else interested in a full set of 10?

3 down, 4 to go!

As long as it isn't 10 billion quid or something, i'd go for that.

Necro-bump!

I had Luke (l.designs) repro a couple sets of these (in soft rubber) for me and he is shipping them to me in a week or so.

Not sure what he is going to be selling them for, but I know it will be much cheaper than the originals which cost $500+ on YJP for the set of 10.

Who else is interested?

I will get some pics up as soon as I can get some real nice ones. Will be doing the traditional flesh, translucent red, yellow & brown with ultrafine holographic glitter. So far I have a flesh and glitter red set made... the red seems to cancel out the colors of the holographic glitter.... but it is still a beautiful site, they look like yummy candy. Can't beat a traditional flesh however.

A full set of 10 will run $200 and singles $30 each. Also this is a nice flexible rubber instead of the resin that doesn't quite fit in with the whole LRG thing.

Sets will be made to order & available as soon as Jon gets his in his hot little hands as he has been waiting ultra patiently through the whole learning curve.

Special thanks to Jkaris for this whole deal and his extreme patience. Also Alec for helping me get my head on straight when I felt like slamming it against a wall.

(Edit) Oh, wow. $200 is really a lot. I'd have to save for a while, lol.

Yes, $200 is a lot in one shot. However these molds required a lot of tooling & I can only pour 1/2 a set at a time due to how quickly this material sets up. Hand mixing the flesh color is pretty tough to get a good match.

That said... I will have some mismatch & minor blemish (bubble) sets up at a lower rate. As I piece together these sets and singles they will be available first come first serve so make sure and watch this topic if you want to get some on the cheaper side.

Wow Luke, that Flesh color looks pretty damn good. :o

These figures are such odd birds to me. For me, they feel somewhere between the Kinnikuman heads and CUTIES. It's like the rational side of my brain says, "These would be cool additions and have an interesting place in Kinnikuman history."

But the emotional side says, "You're heading down a dark path. This is a gateway set."

Better shots.... well at least as far as the flesh goes... and yeah these guys still need some cleaning. What takes seconds in resin takes some real time and attention in rubber...

OK sooooo.... the $200 price is for a close to perfect as I got set.... lots of cleanup time and attention to detail... no bubbles set....

I have some other options....

mismatch set... virtually no bubbles but a get what you get color-wise set.... $150

Or.... a bubbled obvious bootleg set for $75

Or a virtually no bubble set but not cleaned up for $150

You still gotta cover shipping.... but these are some more options.

Also soon there will be yet another option to pick these up.... for a buck!!!!

I wanted to give you guys a head's up. These figures are awesome!

I'm working on a review for UofM, so I don't want to say anything specific yet – but you'll love them. I couldn't hold it in. :yahoo:

Here's my review. I think it's pretty open and honest, but you've been warned - you might spend $200 after reading it and seeing the figures again.

These guys are available now in the store. Thanks to some developments that helped speed up the cleaning time and make the whole thing come together a lot quicker I was able to drop the price by $50... then again if you go to University of M.U.S.C.L.L.E. today you can get a further discount on the set or anything else in the storefor that matter.

Here you go more or less... this is the packaging setup with a mixed & off color set in there. You get 2 carded bags with half a set each. This way the cards are displayable and easy to dust ha!
