Hey guys,

I found wave 2 of Series 2 of the US release of Gormiti at a Walmart near me. It seems that they just swapped the guys that are included with the lords with the guys in the packs. The most interesting thing about that is that we are getting Atomic colorations of guys that previously were only in the 4-packs. I snapped some pictures, although they are through my phone, so they aren't the greatest quality. I saw all 5 Lord 4-packs with their their new package mates. I also found several of the 2 packs, however not every figure is accounted for in Atomic colors. There was a Turtle the Seer in two pack, but there wasn't a two pack with him in atomic colors. So I am not sure if they just aren't doing everyone in Atomic colors, or if this was only a portion of wave 2. The pegs were completely filled between wave 1 and wave 2, so its possible that they didn't have enough room to put up the entire case/wave, and the rest are still in the back. Not sure. Anyways, here are the pics, with the 2-packs first since I think that is the more interesting part of wave 2. '

There's nothing surprising about that. That's how it worked in Series 1 and the rest of us expected Series 2 would work precisely the same way.

It's all but certain that you didn't spot all fifteen of S2W2, and they were either in the back like you thought or the store doesn't have them yet (a two-pack case only consists of ten packs, so the store has to have more than one, and each one has to be a different assortment).

Damn it, I still don't own anything from Wave 1.

I only have the Carrapax 4-pack from Wave 1. I need to get down to Target/TRU and snatch up some more before they're all gone.

Nice pics, by the way. Too bad they didn't have all the packs out... I'm eager to see who's packaged with the Atomic Patient Motionless.

I saw series 2 wave 2 2packs at my local Toys R Us tonight. I believe they had the new 4packs as well, but since I'm not getting them for my collection I can't confirm they were there. I just kinda gave the 4packs a glance. I will try and go out with my digital camera tomorrow and snap some pictures.

You guys are fortunate to have the exclusive figures in the 2 packs in both regular and atomic colors. In our area, you can only get them in an extremely overpriced 5 pack. And thats only for atomic colors, the regular ones arent even available here. I was fortunate to have obtained the regular ones overseas, but for local collectors where I live, they dont have a chance.

Toywiz.com has updated their Gormiti section with all of Series 2 Wave 2, with pictures for all of them. Looks like I'll be getting more doubles.

Do the Lords of this series change color or glow? By the way, got the Turtle seer guy in color change, he's blue.

The Lords are not included in two-packs, so unless there is some other type of release for them, they will not use the Atomic gimmicks.

My local Walmart sold out of the regular 1st wave long ago. However, they do still have the 10-Packs for about 20 bucks - both Series 1 and 2- since Christmas.

In that quote, I was referencing Series 2 Wave 1. My Walmart hasn't carried Gormiti since a brief release of Series 1 Wave 1, and I don't have a local Target. Makes catching up a serious pain in the butt.

I know I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but my local Walmart has started carrying Gormiti again for the first time since Series 1 Wave 1. It might be worth it to check the toy aisle next time you go. I'm sure my Walmart can't be the only one. Let's hope they stick with it this time around, eh? Having to go to Target/TRU all the time is a pain.

So I had a huge delay in deciding to pick up the second half of series 2. Now with the price cut at Target I decided to nab the packs. I bought 8 sets I needed from my local Targets, then I paid regular price at Toys R Us for another 5 packs. I am now missing two packs to round out my series 2 wave 2 collection, but I have some store searching coming up shortly. I am adding 5 pics to this thread that are 2packs not yet displayed.
