Wow this is incredible. Thank you so much for showing these. I think I may have one of these and will get you a picture, do you think you can verify if it is indeed a Russian BB.

Thanks

dabbuu

Yes, the figure at the left is very similar that were at us.

These Figures are just Completely Awesome! I mean seriously! The sculpts are so unique and out there! Really! You have a cybernetic Goblin with a bazooka, and a Cyborg with Boobs! That's just cool!

Really, thanks for sharing. We don't get to see such cool vintage and foreign figures everyday around here.

I'm liking some of the robots - pity I didn't have any Russian friends way back then

Having spotted a WH40K Terminator Space Marine being utilised in there it makes me wonder what other resources might have been borrowed from by the manufacturers - could be quite a selection :wallbash:

Welcome our sole Russian collector!!!

First of all, thank you for sharing your AWESOME collection photos!

So my first observation is that these were some bootleg toys based loosely on BB, War Hammer, Robocop, TigerSharks (one of the skeletons/the flat hat), etc...

My first question would be were they produced in the Asian market and sold in Russia? Or were they produced in Russia or Eastern Europe and sold in Russia? Not sure if you would know w/o "Made In" marks or the original box they came in.

Those weapons would go GREAT w/ Glyos Onell figures!!!

Again Welcome and Thank You for sharing!!!

Yes, I don't know where are they came from. There is no marks on them. Maybe they are made in China  It seemed to me, that quality of the majority of figures concedes to that I have seen at this forum.

i wanted to welcome you to the board as well. you've taken some really great pictures of some toys i don't think i've ever seen before. except one. in your most recent post, the broken figures, the far right robot with the skull like head. i know i've seen it somewhere before. i want to say it was in a big figure lot on ebay but i can't remember for the life of me. i go through and view thousands of lots a week though. maybe i saw it somewhere else and my mind's just playing tricks on me. it's just so familiar. thanks for the pics.

Man! I can't tell you how awesome all of your figures are! They are all cool! I am especially fond of the little mechanized creatures with all the movable joints. Like the two dragon looking figures and the Frog headed one. All your figures are just so unique! I know I've never seen any like this before.

Yes, these creatures with all the movable joints, they are really unusual. Such was not at anybody from my friends. I think my father brought them from St. Petersburg.

You noticed that to :o In addition theres an Ork in the mix as well (the "goblin").

Im completely blown at the variety of these figures. The only thing i can compare them to are early Warhammer 40K models from the 80's and very early 90's (which may be because they in fact used said models for the line. The weapons are definitely from WH40K in some cases).

The fact that these figures have been given articulation..no matter how limited...is impressive as well.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

There's a lot of components lifted from MB/Games Workshop's old "Space Crusade" game too  (mostly amongst the guns but I spotted that the Chaos Android miniature was the basis for another figure up there).

Awesome figure. My father brought it from Saint Petersburg. It has no "made in" mark, but quality is so much better than other figures. It made from good rubber. Leather belt with metal buckle and metal daggers. And even under clothes all on place :)
For me it's really impressive. Sometimes it seems that it's alive ;)
