The seller said he was letting it run it's course. I know both jlspeth and myself had bids on it.

Oh, well the seller cheated themselves out of $500+. The auction would have ended for over $1000, surely. With myself, walker13.1, jlspeth and gollum bidding, it would have been a site to behold. Maybe even $1500 is Alex and Vette had got into a major bidding war.
In all honesty, I MUST BE FREAKING BLIND!!! I saw this when it was up for auction, and even now I still don't see DM in the picture. Where is it? I do remember seeing the bid at $80+, but after looking at it and not seeing anything I just figured it was for the big amount of figures. If I would have known, then yup, I imagine Alex and I would have been biding on it. $500 for a SR, nice buy who ever ended up with it.
We're at:
1. Druken Master
2. Dark Emperor
3. 4 Purple Claws (including Stoney's incredibile story)
4. Headless SHA
5. One BHS
Not a bad year at all I would say.

I just emailed the seller this below. Hopefully at least he/she feels dumb now.

Thought to let you know, by ending it early you LOST a lot of money. Yes, it ended for $500, but the last M.U.S.C.L.E. auction that ended with a Super Rare sold for $1580 (I bought it). You had an American figure called Druken Master. It would have easily gone for over $1000. That is why you don't end auctions early. The real auctioning occurs during the last ten seconds.

Congrats to the winner if he/she is a member! Speak up if you are, this is too exciting to keep a secret IMO.

I imagine whoever won it is waiting until they at least have the figure in their hands. I don't blame them. Even now I predict that people will be trying to sabotage the deal by contacting the seller and letting them know what they had, even though the auction is done and dusted at $500.

Dear vettes1988,
Hello, and thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. The auction should not have been closed early, nor should any offer have been accepted. When our auctions have at least one bid posted, we never end the auctions early. One the of the employees accepted and ended the auction without authorization, and please be assured the MUSCLE MEN auction will be re-listed within the next 2 days. Our reputation is everything and no amount of money would soil our strict policies. We want all Ebay members to know if we post an auction the high will win. We are going to spread out the figures and take new images, so every bidder will have a better view of exactly all 200+ figures for auction. I apologize for the gross error and will correct this error myself. Thank you for your patience while we resolve this matter. Jerry

The figure I'm talking about is short, with cane, and eyes are weird. He looks drunk. I HIGHLY recommend to spread out the figures when you relist. Find the figure I'm talking about and take front and back pictures of it. Does the figure feel like hard rubber, or soft flexible rubber? Does it have YSNT on back? You can find more information about the figure at www.littlerubberguys.com and www.nathansmusclepage.com
I also recommend you become a member of the www.littlerubberguys.com. Even if just for shortly, you should start asking questions.
I highly recommend reaching out to Jkaris, TheGodBeast, Soupie, and Doc_Moore_J. These members are very knowledgeable. I'm obvioulsy walker13.1 in that website.

Don't feel bad, vette. It was Alex who got the seller to do an early buyout. He plays dirty pool all the time.
Now that the seller will be relisting it, Alex will just have to bid like everyone else. Since he has been trying to get this figure since the days of PhillyMadison, I imagine that this will be the highest priced super rare to date. Previously it was the $1800 Warsman (from the Magnificent 11) he bought from Mischa (Grandtheft). No, no one ever paid $5000 for the Mysterious Partner figure. If anyone really believes that, I have a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell.
I am guessing between Alex, Vette and SG that this now tops $2000.

Who is SG? I do feel bad because I don't think trying to get some to end an auction early is wrong, but I just felt like letting the seller know what an idiot he/she was and WHY.
DM has potential, that is for sure.
