In my best MK voice....
FINISH him!

The figures will also be painted. I guess what I mean is he isn't just buying some figure off the store shelf and adding a few parts. It will be more like the Claw, with toy figures as a "stick figure" to add what ever he adds to give the "frozen" stance, then paint. If his Claw and Hulkverine are any indication of his work, then these should turn out awesome.

The Goro I have Luke doing for me has his hands more spread out and face forward. PM Luke, he'll probably be able to do it for you.

Awesome flames. Based on Luke's description, the pictures of Scorpion's head looks different than with eye. More from him on Scorpion: The only thing I was thinking maybe if you want is to do some silver highlights on some of the flames & then another coat of clear yellow over that just to give it a bit more depth. The flames aren't lacking in depth.... just sounded like it might look cool!
I asked if a hint of red to flames would make the flames look more hot. He is the artist, so I'll let him make the call.
Sub-Zero
Also thinking maybe have the arms flesh on the shoulders & then fade into an intermixed metallic blue as you get closer to the hands. Don't know just sounds like a good interpretation based on the pics. Also want to maybe do like an ice ball forming in his hands... like a metallic silver with clear blue over that & then build from there with just clear and no paint. Make it real thick so it has real depth to it & looks like a building power in his hands. Maybe build the clear up a bit, paint clear blue over that, then build clear again & don't paint the final layer so it has like 3 layers to it? Basically based on how long the clear takes to fully cure, I want to start this soon so it can cure while I work on the rest of the figure!

Getting anxious for the paint stage but need to get some sculpting done! Funny cuz with Ryan's piece I can't wait to get to some sculpting but I'm still building the structure to it!
OK this scan kinda sucks, but I'm hoping you can see where I was going... but after watching this video clip I realized I was all backwards. Form ball in hands, push out.... duh the ball is at the end of the projectile! OK so reworking this in my head.... a straight shot of ice coming from the hands... maybe jagged pieces sticking out or something... then a powerful ball of Ice power at the end.. with parts trailing off to show motion! The front has points of white frost & the main color is aqua & blue.
His hands/arms & places on his costume have hints of white frost... similar to the end of the ice ball shooting from his hands.
Sword is done in similar fashion to the ice powers.
Yeah!
Scorpion:
OK also added red and orange to Scorpion's flames... when dry, another coat of yellow. Oooh I want to set up and take really nice photos of these when they are finished.

Hopefully this isn't stepping on any creative toes, but have you guys thought of adding very very subtle hints of blue on some of the flame areas for the skull?

What are you recommending with the blue on skull? I don't understand I guess. Scropion has flame coming out, and I want the flames to be hot looking. What does blue do?

The hotter the flame is, it turns into a white-ish color, but can also turn blue if there is enough of an oxygen concentration.
Mostly just threw it out there for extra colors or layers to play with, specially when you see stuff like this
