My next project is a spinning head ashuraman. Now, only if I had a few extra ashura heads to lopp off......

The Ashuraman aye, I don't know, sounds pretty difficult.

It might not be an perfect match like the Sunshine, unless you cut up the arms to match exactly. I look forward to seeing it though.

I am getting curious too. I have a lot of rare figures like Satancross and Ashuraman. I was really starting to wonder if there was some way for me to actually create a mold of these figures like you all thought I was doing in the first place.

The mold would have to be made of something that could harden and then keep its fit when adding the plastic. Probably two halves I'm thinking. Does anyone have any suggestions or ever seen a mold for toys before?

Hey uoozuman,

Are you going to make the Ashuraman with all the parts from all the M.U.S.C.L.E. Ashuraman figures? I was thinking with all the different parts you could get from those figures, it would probably work pretty good!

I just had a thought. Has anyone ever gone to the denstist and gotten a mold of their teeth for a retainer before. If we could get a hold of this stuff or in touch with a dentist that would make a mold of one of our rares, then the mold would probably turn out perfect!

I just had a thought about making a custom M.U.S.C.L.E. Figure. It involves the Sunshine figure again. You could take the arm off and put the right arm up so both hands would be in the air! Would look kinda cool, don't ya think?

Here's what the Custom Sunshine might look like! They have already done it as a Kinnikuman. Just found this pic, right after I told you about the idea, believe it or not! Whoa, scary!

Ha, that looks pretty cool. Sunshine is great for customs, because there are so many possibilities on how to pose him. As for the ashura man, I am probably going to focus on the head. I might change an arm or two. What I noticed when making the custom sunshine is that you could stick wire in the arms and legs, to make them poseable. Seriously! Just like the old bendy WWF Wrestler figures from the 80's. In the custom sinshine I made, I used thick steel pin to attach the legs and arms. The pins were inserted and the feet, all the way up to the torso. I can actually move the legs, and have them keep the new shape. This would really work great with some of the more skinny figures like # 13, 28, 31, 35, 36, 43, 46, and my favorite 91. It would take a little skill, and you would have to buy wire, that would not break when it bends. You would first have to insert a needle, to make the hole/tunnel, and then use a pair of needle nose pliers to help insert the wire. I am going poseable on all my extra skinny MUSCLE.

That's a great idea! I've actually seen some custom figures done like this before too!

I agree with you on the ease of customizing a Sunshine. Because he is relatively square, you can stick parts pretty much anywhere without much notice.

I just had an idea for another custom M.U.S.C.L.E. Take the Pyramid M.U.S.C.L.E. and cut the head off. Then turn the Pyramid upside down and cut off the tip just about 1/4 of an inch so the head can be attached flush. Now there's no problem getting that figure to stand up!

And it looks cool too!
