Anyone got any of these at all? I've got 7 of them and no one really mentions them or seems to collect them as I know a fair few people aren't a big fan of this series as it was a move away from the non painted original series. Anyone collect any or have any they don't want?

I've got so far

98. Thunderdell - Green GITD
107. Slaughterford - Red
108. Creather from the Closet - Pink
110. Mad Gasser of Mattoon - Green
111. Drude - Red
116. Wurdulac - Green
120. Imp - Red

I wonder if they were some kind of prototype for the harder rubber/plastic used for the Creepies series that were released after

Ya,got a few,checked 10 of them loose.
Plus some in my master set(how many=?).
Could of been made at different times or other factories.
For now this is what I've found:
#98-
#100-
#101-
#105-
#106-
#108-
#110-
#116-
#119-
#120-

Creature from the Closet is #106(your list says 108)

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

Anyone got any others not mentioned in the previous posts? I know this one was already mentioned but just wondering.

No one likes series 4's it seems. I like them though, would really like to get hold of some more of them but they are impossible to tell apart in photos from the normal ones

I'd like them a lot more if they were all unpainted and not larger than series 1-3. The paint kind of ruins it for me. I'd like to get some of those elusive unpainted ones.

Were the unpainted ones UK only? I don't know much about them. Yeah, if you have extras hook me up man. :)

Not that elusive really, I have a load in my sale thread which have been up for weeks with very little interest. Perhaps at 50 cents a piece I am asking too much?

Ah I've got the super scaries series in normal rubber thanks, its just the hard plastic ones I'm after now.

I think the reason the super scaries were bigger and painted is matchbox wanted to try and keep the series fresh but changing it up, same old same old does get boring even though everyone now appears to just like the originals. Marketing and all that and trying to keep people interested. Though I do think the space aliens were poor sculpts, their cards make them look so much better though, wish they'd looked more like them
