Anyway, Nemesis was an enemy in Final Fantasy X. Specifically, he was the toughest monster in the game- to fight him, you would have to "capture" 10 of every capturable monster type, and then fight and defeat EVERY special creation that the Monster Arena throws at you (the weakest of which is easily twice as strong as the game's final boss). Nemesis himself had, if I remember correctly, somewhere around 10 million HP, and the ability to literally obliterate anybody. Thus, he's the ultimate challenge. And now, he has a figure:-D
Sculpt: Nemesis is, basically, a pallette swap of Omega from earlier in the games- Omega is black, Nemesis is gold. Thus, this figure could easily be customized to Omega or his bone-white brother, Ultima. Anyway- the detailing is excellently done, especially considering that the monster is complex enough to easily warrant a larger figure- Nemesis is about 4" long. His face is actually well-defined, small though it is, and the sculptors were careful to include every crack and/or runic symbol in his natural armor plating. Even the tassles attached to Nemesis' horns look good.
Paint Job: Nemesis is done mainly in a gold-and-blue scheme, with subtle washes of other colors to bring out detail. The combined effect makes him look incredibly regal, and the paint job is VERy accurate- even his teeny-tiny eyes and teeth are well-painted without any visible errors.
Articulation: Are you ready for a shocker? NEMESIS HAS ARTICULATION! the individual pieces that he comes in are designed for articulation- the limbs, wais,t head, and back-horns. Thus, with the exception of his tail, Nemesis is genuinely poseable. You can even have him rearing up on his back-hind legs, if you want!
Accessories: None really to speak of.
Pricing: Nemesis can currently be bought from $5-$10. In a month or less, though, that price will skyrocket to $15-$20. It happens EVERY TIME with the Final Fantasy Creatures, so if you want one, then HURRY
GOtGM (1-10): I'll put Nemesis at an even 5.
Overall: 4.8 out of 5. Even for the FF Creatures line, Nemesis shows incredible quality- the fourth assortment looks very, very good so far. VERY good. Just hurry up and search on E-bay before the price goes bonkers, okay?
