Hello Everybody,

This is arforbes. I just joined the AKIA Forums Message Board. Many of you have seen my many auctions on ebay and wonder how I got so many M.U.S.C.L.E. Figures.

I'd like to clear up some questions you all had about how I got so many rare figures and satancrosses and sets of 4 28-Packs. Here's my story:

I have always been a fan of M.U.S.C.L.E. Men ever since I was a kid. I had a few flesh tone figures, but found out about them late so I had more colored than flesh figures. In the beginning, my brother and I only had about 75 each of the colored figures and that's it!

Many years later, I still had all my figures and still played with them as my collection of colored figures. My aunt in NEW JERSEY bought a bag of about twenty to thirty flesh tones and remembered that I loved them and sent them to me. This is how I got my first satancross figure.

I had no idea that this figure was rare at first. As a matter of fact, I almost gave him away, but thank God I didn't. I had always dreamed of getting every muscle man in the flesh color, but just didn't know how to do this since they were no longer being sold.

Years later, my brother told me that he had seen some on sale on ebay. I had never been on ebay so I checked it out and he was right. I immediately became a member and also became addicted, buying tons of Muscle Men in an uncontrolable effort to get my full collection of flesh tone Muscle figures.

So I bought and bought, spent over $1000 I'm sure, buying the 28-Packs, loose lots with figures that I needed, and when I found out how rare the Satancross was, I was blown away because I had one and had almost gave it away. Every lot I found with a satancross figure, I made sure I won it. I honestly won at least 11 or 12 of these figures. I also contacted jshurt, the famous owner of the two Ashuraman figures and convinced him through months of email to sell me one for $100. I now have one like him.

So I had bought all of these figures and finally acquired all the M.U.S.C.L.E. Men in the set of 236. I now had over 2000 muscles all together. I sorted through all of them and picked three of each of the best flesh tone figures---you know, the ones that weren't deformed and that stood up well. I now have a full set of 236 times three, that's right three of every flesh tone including Satancross X3 plus an Ashuraman with the removable head, and over 500 colored figures, and a Near MINT M.U.S.C.L.E. Poster which I won on ebay for around $100, absolutely no tears or writing, which I later had framed, all of this stuff which I intend to keep as my dream collection!

So now, about six months later, I decided to sell my thousands of extras and about 20 box sets of flesh tone figures all the accessories like the ring, game and belt, along with the extra seven or eight satancrosses I have. Maybe I'm hoping to make a little bit of the ridiculous amount of money I spent on these figures, and I'd like to give others a chance to make their dream collections come true.

So that's my story, it's a long one. Please tell me what you think. I can send you pics of all this stuff if you'd like to see it. Just let me know. I'm glad to have joined the message board and look forward to sharing the talk and knowledge about one of the greatest toys ever!!!

I am on a constant lookout for these rare M.U.S.C.L.E. Figures. That's all I check ebay for pretty much. If I ever see any, you all will be the first to know!

Sweet, I am getting paid for surfing the net today. Slow day I guess, not much to do. It is way wrong but I just found a way to sneak into yahoo pagebuilder from work, until now I could only edit my site at home when I didn't have any time because the government has all sorts of blocks and firewalls and crap, but no longer will my site be neglected because of them ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha(evil laugh).

Damn, I'm always running around at my job. Wish I could get paid to go to sleep. Actually, I wish I could get paid to collect M.U.S.C.L.E.'s. That would be awesome. I'd be freakin rich by now! Haha!!!

I was just wondering...is anyone a big enough M.U.S.C.L.E. freak to have memorized the whole M.U.S.C.L.E. poster figure numbers to each M.U.S.C.L.E. figure so that when someone asks about, maybe they say "Do you have #136, etc...?," you know exactly what figure they're talking about each time?

I have not, personally... but I think it would be cool if there was someone that did! I would love to have this kind of knowledge stored away in my crazy little head!!!

So I guess your real question is, who is the Rain Man of MUSCLE collecting? Memorizing the MUSCLE Poster is just one aspect. "Yeah... number 153... the hand... yeah..." Has anybody dropped a bunch of MUSCLEs on the floor and count them all in one glance? "Oops... 387... yeah... " (Your upper torso rocking back and forth is a must, too.)

dam, that was pretty funny. maybe someone will be up to that challenge by the time there is a Muscle Convention. unless, of course, it happens to conflict with Judge Wapner........

I used to know quit e afew of them from trying to sort them. Still can remember a few but it can be tough since some of them look so much a like.

Maybe that could be on of the competitions at a muscle con. Match the numbers and pictures.
