Hello,
I am also the owner of a Spinning Head Ashuraman and was curious as to your figure and if you have known about the AKIA forums? We (M.U.S.C.L.E. Collectors) like yourself are always searching for Super Rares. Are you a member of the AKIA Forums? If not, you should join. We would surely love to talk about your collection. If we are correct, this will be the fifth Spinning Head Ashuraman ever found. I own one and the most rare of all, the Blackhole Sunshine, which there are only two of, known anyways. You are familiar with Nathan's M.U.S.C.L.E. page; I'm sure you have seen the collection's page.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Alex

Yeah I just saw that after I had bid for the first time on both his auctions, I was outbid right away but someone with an oddly familiar username. Could be just coincidence, I wonder. I hope this is not shill bidding!Wierd:
Seller:

High Bidder:

Regardless, I'm bidding on this one too.

My 2ยข...I doubt it's a shill. The seller seems to know what he has and so would have to know it's value and that a shill wasn't necessary especially since it looks like the bid war has started.Could be just coincidence, I wonder. I hope this is not shill bidding!

After years of scanning flea markets, garage sales, basements and attics; my days of buying, selling and trading M.U.S.C.L.E. figures will come to an end this week. I am forced to sell my prized personal collection. This week I am selling over 180 MUSCLE's and accessories and every G.I. Joe figure from 1982-1986. So PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS TO SAVE ON SHIPPING. Now, enough about my sadness, let's get to the details of this auction: You get the rarest of the rare MUSCLE man from the US line (this is no eraser-like Japanese Kinnikuman). He is in DEAD MINT condition. It is certainly the original flesh tone and not one of the later crazy colors. This figure is not pictured on the mail-away poster. It has a feature that is different from all the Ashura Man figures in the American line; it has a rotatable and removable head. You can take off it's head, and rotate it to display the 3 different faces. The figure has the usual "Y/S*N*T" that all MUSCLE toys have. Some speculation is that this toy was pulled from the market after an extremely short run due to a potential choking hazzard. I obtained this toy about 5 years ago while selling 80's toys out of a Flea Market in Western New York near Buffalo. A guy came in and sold me his childhood G.I. Joe collection. He wasn't a collector, his mom had just saved his toys in the attic or something. I asked if he had any other 80's toys, and sure enough he came back next week with some wrestlers (which my partner bought) and a baggy full of MUSCLE men. I got the MUSCLE's home and tried to identify this guy for my collection on the mail-away poster. After I could not find it, I did a little research and realized I had something quite rare. I never saw the guy again to ask him where he may of got it, but I am sure it was purchased in the 80's when he was a kid. I enjoyed him in my collection for years, now he can join yours! I find it interesting that one of the few other of these Spinning Head Ashura also originated from the Buffalo area. If you check out the AWESOME site: http://www.newellsys.../collecting.asp and click on ~Super-rare MUSCLEs? you can read the account of the other Buffalo Spinning Head. Good luck adding this guy to your collection!! I'll pay for domestic shipping as long as you pay for the insurance. International buyers will pay the actual shipping cost plus (only) a $1 handling fee (insurance optional but highly recommended). I accept Paypal, money order or personal check (must clear before I ship). Please contact me with any questions or if you would like a clearer picture of any part of this auction. Bid with confidence, my feedback stands on its own.

In the mid-90's I began aquiring collections of 80's toys from college kids, friends and basically anyone I could find! As my personal collection grew, the doubles and extras started piling up. In the late 90's I opened a shop at a Flea Market here in Buffalo.

Yeah, I was just taken by the similarity of the two names at first. Your seller name was surprisingly similar to the guy who outbid me as soon as I placed my bid. I am sure there is no wrong-doing here, I just had to post a heads-up in reply to Johnny's (JKaris's) post before that.ALSO-I can assure you there is NO shilling going on here. As someone pointed out, why would I have two eBay names so similiar? and why would I even have to pump up the value of this guy just hours into the auction? You can see I have perfect feedback and buy as much on eBay as I sell, so the integrity of the online auction community is very important to me. I have been burned by both scam sellers and non-paying bidders and would not wish that on anyone. Good luck to all of you in bidding. You guys have a very interesting forum here! Please feel free to pose any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

That'd still be cheaper than round trip tickets to Buffalo on a Southwest Fun Fare to search the thrift shops, flea markets and yard sales (but probably not as fun). What's 200 hundred smackers when there is a super duper rare on the line?

I HAVE ONE already, and I wasn't going to bid again unless Johnny got outbid. Damn I want one of you guys to get that SHA. It better be you Johnny, Nathan, Ridureyu, Doc Moore J, Marty, Veers, etc...!!! Seriously, I am going to be pissed if one of you vets does not get this! This ends today guys!
