I don't know much about the Bills, but to let you know the Browns defense is pretty poor, but the offense is good. How are you guys against the run?

Well, we aren't great aginst the run, I think we are ranked around 15th in the league against the run. Of the 13 games we have played 8 of them our defense held the opponent to 3 or less TD's....our main problem is our offense...this last week I think was the first time our QB threw more then 2 TD's in a game... :) of course that was against Miami...

And we had both HB's run 100+ yards....again....Miami...but it looked promising.... :D

I actually like the Browns, I have always been a fan, especially when Modell tried to run out on them and take thier awesome history somewhere else...(Baltimore). So I have always enjoyed The Browns....talk about a loyal fan base. ;)

Hey, lets not forget who it was who ran that team into the ground to begin with and set in motion that whole chain of events...

As far as Smith goes, hes a second year guy. Thats the type of stupid stuff rookies do. Not that I'm defending him, quite the contrary. I hate people who do stuff like that. Thats why I hated when Joey Porter was on the team. I cant stand braggards whether they are on my favorite team or not. If you wanna make someone look bad, dont stand there and talk smack, go out and kick their butts. Lets also remember that Smith is only playing because Ryan Clark is out for the season. Troy Polamalu was also out this game. Right there, our FS and our SS are replaced by second string, and against Brady and the pass, there was no contest. I would have LOVED to have seen Polamalu up against Moss. Ike Taylor was also pathetic this game and I also cant understand why Willie Colon out there getting us penalties left and right when they could have Max Starks in there.

I dunno. Ah well, the Pats got us on that Flea-Flicker. Thats the play that took the wind out of our sails. Up until then, I thought it was gonna be a good game.

Yeah...it's hard to defend Moss with starters, how you expect to do it with second string... ;) good night. :) I have always loved Polamalu, Him as well as Lofa Tatupu on Seattle, I loved watchin both these players when they were at USC, it's awesome to see how well they are both doing in the "Big League." (Despite Polamalu's Injuries)

I swear Polamalu can blur the lines of time and space. One second he's on one side of the field, the next second, he's making a tackle 45 yards away on the other side of the field. He's a maniac... which is weird because he's such a laid back and calm individual. I think Moss could beat him in a foot race though.

Whats totally amazing is that he is only 5'10, yet, DAMN he can HIT!! I think Moss could take him in a footrace too...but then again, Moss can take a lot people in a footrace. Considering he is in the top ten for fastest NFL players. He ran a 4.25 40m in College!! SMOKIN!!!

Mario "We'll take him over Reggie Bush" Williams had 3 1/2 sacks last nnight vs. the Broncos giving him 9 in the last five weeks. He is also now Houstons career sack leader.
Better than Bush, oh time will tell that, but what a season this kids having.

That was a great game eh? I still had big hope when we came back to tie it at 22 each. But that darned Jacksonville running game was awesome today. If Ben Worthlessberger's shoulder would have been 100% I think we would have stood a better chance. Ah well. On to next week against the Lambs, er, Rams.

Dont worry though Browns fans, we still hold the tie breaker over you since we did beat you twice this year. B)

If you didn't already know, the world of sports media -- and media in general -- is made up of COMPLETE IDIOTS. I can't believe how big of a deal they are making out of this past week's Dallas/Eagles game. Seriously, the media people are acting like a bunch of school boys over this whole Jessica Simpson thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as bad as the next guy who finds their attention drawn to whichever "hot" blond is whoring attention at the moment... to a point.

http://www.breitbart...;show_article=1

The Cowboys lost 10-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles and Romo had what was statistically the worst game of his career, all while Simpson sat in a luxury box wearing a pink No. 9 jersey she proudly showed off for television cameras.

The problem for her is, Romo's previous worst game came last December at home to the Eagles when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance.

Previous worst game? Uh... how about the Bills game earlier this year when Romo threw FIVE freaking interception. Who throws 5 interceptions in one game? How about the time a fumbled the snap of a game winning snap that would allow Dallas to enter the playoffs?

I watched the game on NFL network last night. Sure. It wasn't Romo's best game of his 12-2 season... but it wasn't is bad as they're making it out to be. This was the 2nd time this year that they played the Eagles, which means this was the 2nd time Jim Johnson and the Eagles defense got to take a crack at Romo. They knew going into the last game that the key to stopping Romo was not letting him roll out to his right, where he creates freaking miracles. Indeed, Romo did make some amazing passes in the game that were simply dropped.

Anyhow... I know America has historically been fascinated with Dallas, but if this is what we have to look forward to... :)

'Ole Ben and the Steelers have a game on their hands tonite. I thought it was going to turn into a blow-out when the Steelers drove 97 yards to score only 4 minutes into the game, but they're currently down 14-10.

Also, it looks like Parker is out for the game. Bad news for the Steelers.

Go Black and Gold!

41-24

Ben really took charge tonight and actually looked good despite the 4 sacks he recieved. I'll take sacks over interceptions any day though.

:) I have to stand behind my QB but man, he sure knows how to make a person tense.

The Rams have been pretty bad this year, but after two loses, one to the Pats and the other to a 9-5 Jacksonville team, we really needed this win to keep us in charge of the AFC North.

How about that gadget play by Sepulveda? I love when they start pulling those kinds of plays out of the playbook.

What a fun game to watch.

Parker (#1 rusher in the NFL right now) is out for the season with a broken right fibula. That sucks not only for the Steelers and their fans, but also for for Willie himself since this will keep him from staying #1 in the league and from playing in the Pro Bowl along with Big Ben, James Harrison, Troy Polamalu, and my man Alan Faneca. Not only that, but Parker was in line to become the Steelers' first NFL rushing champion since Bill Dudley in 1946.

Also congrats to Marshall Faulk tonight!

:( I have to stand behind my QB but man, he sure knows how to make a person tense.

Well, it doesn't help that your O line has allowed him to get sacked some 45+ times! Watching that game last nite, there were a few times, maybe two or three, when Ben could/should have thrown the ball out of bounds before taking the sack... but there were many more times when (1) he either did throw the ball out of bounds to avoid the sack or (2) scrambled out of the pocket to avoid the sack and made an awesome thrown down field for good yardage.

Dude, I don't know if you realize it or not, but you've got one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the NFL. Forty five plus sacks on your quarter back are a knock on the O line and the coaches' play-calling, not Big Ben. As an Eagles fan and therefore avid anti-Steelers fan, I can say we fear and respect Big Ben.

How many years has Ben been in the league? Three? How many times has he won a Super Bowl? One... already! That's a pretty freaking HUGE accomplishment considering that guys like Marino, Simms, Boomer, and dare I add McNabb, have NEVER won a Super Bowl.

I mean, when I think of the top QBs in the NFL right now, here's what I got:

(1) Brady
(2) Manning
(3) Favre
(4) Romo
(5) Big Ben

... and who else can go on that list? Brees? McNabb? Palmer?

You also have to consider how long Ben has been in the league. He's still young, and he's still learning. Like Sanders said last night, just fall down Ben. On some of the sacks, he's still fighting and trying to make something happen... and he's getting beat up. Without Big Ben leading the Steelers, you guys would not be the same. Also, don't forget that after the year he won the Super Bowl, Ben almost freaking died in a motorcycle accident! He was nowhere near normal the entire year after that. Look what has happened to McNabb -- he has had season ending injuries 3 out of the last 5 years. It reeks total havoc on everything when this happens -- planning, practice, and game performance. Furthermore, don't forget that you guys have had a head coach change, and as good as he is, that also adds bumps in the road.

What do you think would happen if McNabb was the QB of the Steelers and Big Ben was the QB of the Eagles? That's right... it would the Eagles who were preparing to enter the playoffs and the Steelers who were preparing to play their last two games with pride alone as their motivation.

I would take Big Ben as quarter back ANY day!

GL, he got it retired last night. Speaking of which, I'm not too crazy about these Thursday night games, as much as I like my football fix earlier in the week. I just think it is too hard on the coaches and even more physically hard on the players.

And watching Ben play last night really solidified for me the difference between a great QB (Big Ben) and a good QB (Donovan McNabb).

Ben took sacks and missed receivers. McNabb takes sacks and misses receivers.

Ben scrambles and gets yards, or hits receivers for yards. McNabb scrambles and gets yards, or hits receivers for yards.

Ben can throw the long ball and does a couple times each game. McNabb can throw the long ball and does a couple times each game.

In the Red Zone, Big Ben puts the ball on the numbers when it counts and gets 7. In the Red Zone, McNabb doesn't put the ball on the numbers when it counts and settles for 3.

It's the truth, and I've watched it for 9 long years. Mcnabb is a good QB without a doubt, but he lacks the accuracy to be great.

Yeah, the only things the NFL network has going for them are the actual Thursday and Saturday night games and the 90 minute replay of weekend games during the week -- everything else, especially the commentary is teh suck.

I agree with you Soups about Ben. He's pretty damn good considering...

Last year he was lousy because of his accident and surgery and I think they should have started Charlie Batch for most of the first half of the year to let Ben recoup. They didnt, and we ended the season 8-8. No use crying over the past though. Coincidentally, I was stuck in the traffic that was backed up the day Ben wrecked his bike and got to see the mangled thing before they hauled it away. He's lucky he lived. And thats all the news talked about for like, 2 weeks. It was nuts.

Anyway, yeah, hes pretty good. I mean, he would have to be to get to go to the Pro-Bowl to QB for the AFC with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. As far as the O-line, they need to get Willie Colon out of there and put Max Starks back in. Colon has been terrible this year both as a blocker and because he keeps getting us penalties for false starts and holding. That and I think the other teams have really figured out how, and from what direction, to pressure Ben. I personally just hate/love how he scrambles out of the pocked. I love it when he makes the big play, but hate it when he takes the sack instead of just throwing it away. Just throw it away already, Ben!!! I'd rather lose the down than the down and yardage. He does have a knack for making something out of nothing though, but he really needs to learn to throw it away when hes in trouble... in my opinion.

I do really like how he doesnt pull that pnssy @ss hook slide bullsh!t. Anymore you have to be afraid to look at the QB's for fear of penalties. As if, when there are away games, they have to wrap the damn guys in bubble wrap and tissue paper. I remember when the QB's were considered the toughest guys on the team. You dont see Brady running full steam into a heap of defenders. He's just too precious, like a delicate flower :( awwwww, aint he just so cute with his shirt all unbuttoned...
Posted Image

AAAAAAAANYWAY...........
But yeah, I talk some shizznituff on Ben, but ultimately, he is the best QB we've had since Bradshaw. He just scares the ba-jeezis out of me when he drops back to pass. Makes for some exciting football though.

What he really needs is that rally beard back.

As for the NFL network, I didnt have to listen to any of that crap since I listen to the radio during games. It's not the same without Myron Cope but it sure beats listening to pinheads like Deion Sanders or Tony Kornheiser.

P.S. I do realize that Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL today but man, what a siss.
