Wow! My family and I drove to Florida all day yesterday and I didn't know the result of the first contest. I'm glad teh Lion lasted for another round. This is a good match as well. I went with the Spider. He is a very very cool sculpt. A lot of cool things going on with this one. The color is cool, the spider arms are awesome. And I love how he looks like he'll just spit webs in your face. Tiger is cool as well. The most prominant feature being his "rocket launcher" on his shoulder (at least that is what I thought it was growing up. ) I never cared much for his weapon though.

I just noticed you said autobot and decepticon, do these have something to do with transformers?
The battle beasts were a spinoff of one of the Transformers-series, Headformers, if I am not mistaken,
most battle beasts were Autobot-minded though, only about 25 of the 76 were Decepticon-ideologists.
But then the laserbeasts were created, after the decepticon-beasts were beaten by their autobot-counterparts,
and if I am correct ALL laserbeasts were Decepticon-beasts...
Anyone who has all info, feel free to correct me where needed.

Laser Beasts where never part of the Decepitcons or Autobots. But you are dead on about everything else. I added the stories of the BB's to the Tournament Question Thread.

He means Headmasters. That is where they came from.

Well, my vote goes with the Spider. 
He was Crusty Crabs Tag Partner, and while Weby was sticking people to the wall, Crabby would come by and finish em off. They were two of my favorites and I always played with them. I even shuved needles into their symbols and broke them....

Am I the only one who is confused by the fact that the new Battle Beasts polls are both labled the same? "The 2nd LRG Tournament – Round 1, Series 1, Battle Beasts "
Couldnt a match number be added to clear things up a bit? Like perhaps:
"The 2nd LRG Tournament – Round 1, Series 1, Battle Beasts match #1"
"The 2nd LRG Tournament – Round 1, Series 1, Battle Beasts match #2"

The spider wins 25 to 7. I thought the Tiger could have pulled more votes then that. The next new round will be from series 3. Cant wait!
