Let's all be honest, no one collects just for themselves. Without the ability to collect as part of a community or receive acknowledgment or positive reinforcement from fellow collectors, most of us wouldn't collect. We CRAVE that acceptance and acknowledgment. So, I am CERTAIN whoever pulled the douche move will slip up and reveal they have a purple claw. Just wait.
I am salivating here waiting to find out who the douchebag is. Let the drama begin.

show up at his house and infect his wife with herpes, then he will get it and eventually give it to the snitch that acted like a little girl. i swear, its awesome having a great collection, but some people need to buy some pride and honor in themselves.
I like Cass's idea but you may have to take him along for the herpes!!

Agie, have you tried contacting Ebay to see what they can do?
Here is their number if you need it, 866-877-3229.
Still no response from the jackass, I will keep at them.

Really am pissed off...
Just yesterday afternoon I saw a MUSCLE lot with a purple claw in it on ebay. It had a BIN of 64.99. I didnt hesitate to buy it and paid right away. After buying it and made the transaction. I contacted the seller to send it first thing in the morning with confirmation #. He agreed. so the deal was done.
Strange that someone here congratulated me on getting the purple claw this morning. 30 minutes later. The seller contacted me while printing out the shipping label this morning that he just got an email about the auction and decided to pull away and sent me a refund back. I tried to contacted the seller all day but no word. I figured somthing like this would happen as it always does with a rare figure. Its like a big part of my muscle collection was stolen away from me. Any help or advice???

You guys are forgetting that someone changed the sellers mind. I think that is the worst of it. I can't blame the seller actually as they obviously were money hungry but it was the effing douche that changed their mind where the focus should be at. The seller is a bastard as well and knows he has done wrong or one of us would have had a response by now. It would be funny to report all of the sellers auctions until they give in and respond. Ha, they will block us all form bidding on their items and then go out of business cause nobody is buying, could work???
Unfortuantely for the seller we don't know who the other a-hole is. BUT we know who the seller is.
Let him block the one account he knows about. I got a few and love making things miserable for scum bags.
There is no way for him to block messages from an ebay member, just bid blocking.
BTW. If you sell on ebay, you should be buying with a separate account.

I'm guessing the joke would be on you. Would it be such a stretch for a dishonest seller to be dishonest in other areas of their life? Maybe this guy already passed something on to his wife that is worse than herpes.

That's not true about blocking messages, They can say seller is not accepting messages at this time. I have seen it before,
coincidentally I could not bid either. I think he is a member here???

Maybe he/she is a member here but if so that doesn't make sense that they put a buy-it-now for so cheap. I would think a member would know it's true value, but I could wrong.
Also, I thought you could only have one ebay account? Isn't that part of the terms and agreements?

Yea, the person isn't a member here. That is obvious from the buy it now. I think an ebay person can have more than one account, correct?

You are only supposed to have one account and it is against the terms of ebay. But some households have multiple people using ebay so several ebay accounts can be registered to one URL address and/or email.Yea, the person isn't a member here. Definitely leave the seller negative feedback, it's just a shame this is all you can do.
Hopefully you'll get a purple claw soon!

Just curious as to why this is your opinion? Is there some sort of advantage of buying and selling on different accounts?BTW. If you sell on ebay, you should be buying with a separate account.

Retalitory FeedBack. If I buy something from a seller and have an issue with it, things can get really messed up if I sell under that account. I don't want to leave that window open. If I only buy with one account and sell with an other, I've eliminated retaliation.

Sorry to hear that SmokinGun. I kinda doubt Ebay can really force him to do anything. Wonder if the person with $1500 offer got it. With the $1000 and $1500 offers, the guy is a fool not to put it back on Ebay.
No reply as of yet on my 1500.00. If they said yes, I ain't gonna buy it.
Just looking to spike the deal the a-hole made with the seller.

You are allowed to have mulitple accounts. They must be on separate emails but can share IP addresses.

eBay will also investigate the seller's M2M messages and go after any buyers who ruined the deal for transaction interference.
Depending on many times a buyer has done it they mat just get a warning or even suspended.
It is against policy to contact a seller in an open ended manner to take a transaction off of eBay or to discourage them to sell to the winning bidder.

He hasn't resisted it so maybe Karma is getting him. It would be fair to see him private sell it for a few hundred when he could get about a grand.
