If anyone who has been ripped off by this bastard need more info to give to their local police department, or to his police department, let me know. I have full logs of his PM records, as well as 2 mailing addresses for him.

You can report it to your local PD, and they can contact me for the evidence.

I'll just say this. For those of you who are quick to work large deals with new users with little to no feedback, you open yourself up wide for scammers like this.

If there is a new user, make them send first, or at minimum, make them broker the deal through eBay.

I worked out a deal with him as well I have everything in my mail box if needed posting. We worked out a deal for 3 lasers I paid him, he said paypal needed to much info. Then said he didnt know how to refund it. Finally got it back he was sapposed to send COD and I havnt heard from him in weeks. Also I guess his other screen name was trying to trade me lasers for video games today.

its happened to me where i couldnt get my money back before, but was from a seller in Singapore.

Yeah I only got half my money back from paypal when an ebay seller ripped me off for like $400 or more on a large GI Joe lot.

So the whole buyer protection thing is a scam then huh? All that means is if the scammer is smarter than paypal then you wont get your money back. I never new there were instances you couldn't get your money back. I guess I will be finding out on the 15th

It really depends on the situation, and you're not going to find out the verdict until PayPal closes the claim themselves on the 15th. In some cases, PayPal actually refunds you out of their own pocket and chases down the seller on their own. Other times, they only refund whatever money they can grab and you're screwed out of the rest. He couldn't refund you himself while the claim was active because that freezes the funds in his account. If there's money there, frozen, you should be fine. But you have to wait.

So I just got a BIN offer for my puzzlecolor auction from a ebay user id 830slayosin with 7 feedback. Gotta be the same guy. Needless to say I wont be accepting his offer.

Some people really are not cut out for scamming. First he blows his cover by replying to a message with his alt-nick, then he tries to buy from you on eBay with a practically identical username. The guy must be an absolute pinhead.

Needless to say I declined and blocked him from bidding on my auctions.

Man I hate thief's. I am a Sheriffs officer here in Indiana. If that dude were in my Jail. I'd get the money out of him.......totally "SHIELD" Michael Chiklis Style. Hope everything works out. I had a situation like that happen to me from a Website. I did receive 75% of my total funds back.

Oh no way i just read this i did a trade with him over a week ago and sent him aload of my gear but am still waiting for his to come through.
I really hope he hasnt mugged me off i could do without this right now.

That sucks man. I hope he comes through for you. He wasnt willing to refund my money so best wishes to you. If you traded for the Complete Seahorn Killer Hound and I forgot the third check his got toys thread if its still there your screwed. I think he sold the same things he sold to me to saleen123456. Correct me if im wrong as I have not checked the thread before writing this.

I emailed this guy back and forth like 6 times about some MOC 2 packs he supposedly had, but never mentioned in the post. He kept telling me he couldn't believe how much info paypal wanted. I asked him if he had a bank account and he said he overdrew his checking account and was still recovering from that?? I think at one point he thought I was going to send him cash or something. Guys out of his mind I thought he must be a little kid or something?? Freaking Hella Shady, I'm glad he got the boot.

Sorry about your luck homie!! Not cool! I got some real friends in the SLC though, they'll help you bring some justice to his face
