A little gory this week with the one french guy loosing his arm and getting sucked in by the smoke monster. Locke falling down the well and severely breaking his leg.
Overalll great episode. As Alice (from wonderland) would say :
Curiouser and Curiouser.

Pretty good episode.
I think Ben went to kill Penny, but I don't know how he got so beat up.
What happened to Aaron? I think he may play a big role, maybe even as an adult later on.

I didn't watch all of them because they were good, I watched them because it was so terrible. Each episode, each twist – everything was dumber than the last thing. I am embarrassed that I watched them all.
It just seems so effing dumb now. It feels like a nerdy teenage boy has been given the task of writing a TV show. Mark my words, there will be a sexy robot before that show ends.

It will be hard to wait a month to see how it's going to evolve. I spent the weekend watching Seasons 2+3+4 (so far) and I must say it's really a great show.
The guys who killed Rousseau and Karl were probably the ones from the boat who took off with the Helicopter.
Funy how both Ben Linus and the guys on the boat claim the other party staged the Oceanic 815 crash. What will turn out to be true ?
I really want to see what "The Temple" is ... probably related to the four-toe statue ... ?!?
I really miss Mr. Eko. He was one of the best.
Im making my way through these seasons slowly as well and like you its been addictive thus far (which is a mark of a quality show). I hope that the latest season isnt as much of a let down as Veers has eluded to.

this latest season has been up and down with quality/interesting episodes. a few weeks ago they had a great episode on, but the last couple of episodes have been just so so. it's kind of like going on a great road trip and having to stop for gas periodically. when you're going it's great, but in order to keep moving you've got to stop and refuel. we must be driving an old school hummer or something, have to get gas after every block. seems like they're trying to cram a bunch on info into this season so they can just get it over with next season. i'm almost 100% sure i know the secret now though.
My thoughts as well (excluding my knowing the secret).
Considering LOST is 1 of 2 shows on television i watch (each episode is saved until i have the time to watch) ive resigned myself to not over analyzing the show as opposed to just saying im disappointed and no longer watching. Watching Fringe gives me hope that Abrams will make this wayward trip all worth the effort in the end.

i was thinking two realities too. so far it's more confusing than revealing, but with it being just the first episode that should be expected. the revelation about the black smoke monster was kind of a "why the hell didn't i think that" moment for me.
I was thinking the same thing. That dude is bad ass who ever he is. If you remember right Jacob was with someone else on the island. Though they never say his name, and it looks like he took John Lockes body. But he only took it when Ben killed him it looks like.
Very weird!

Think maybe Jacob assumed Saiyd's form?
Good call Pete! I didn't even think of that! I can totally see that now. Why else would he have told Hurly to go to the temple.

So we thought the Lost thread had gotten lost... how ironic would that be!
Yes dan its dual meaning is rich with word play unlike any of my wrong guesses before last seasons cliff hanger
: )
