Feel free, I don’t know who to trust with BB’s. In fact, anyone should feel free to make suggestions of fair and trustworthy experts for any toy.

Of course, mods could always make changes to the list.

I tried.....I dont have the access to post there. ;)

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I have to say that, as far as making shady actions public goes, CZArcher tried to do that exact thing a while ago and was blasted for it because he didnt do it in the Members Feedback forum. Even though he was being completely annoying about it in my opinion, bringing it up at every possible moment, I dont see a difference with what he was trying to do and with what people think should have been done with the whole yapiel thing. If someone would have posted in Alex's feedback thread about that whole fiasco, would it have made any difference?

Basically what I'm saying is that even when someone here does try to warn others about bad dealers, they get treated poorly for it. And while I do think CZ was taking it to the extreme, I for one was sick of hearing about it, he was only trying to inform people. But in the end the vets here just made him look like a giant dildo for even bringing it to the open forum.

Just trying to help

My 2 cents.

I would not go change too much because of all this.
And certainly not make trading/dealing amongst members here a too complicated matter,
so as not to scare people of from dealing/trading.

Personally, if I have a problem, first I try to work it out,
and if it seems the problem remains, than I contact Jkaris about it.
If Jkaris would be lacking in time to help,
I suggest you contact one of the ADMINS, REFEREES or LEGENDS.

That and of course before you trade/buy/sell, make sure you are well-informed,
as stated many times here already. As well as checking the other members feedback beforehand!

Greetz y'all.

PS BB-experts imo: Dabbuu, MatthewF1TZ, Roland13, Soupie, TGB and WhiteLeo in alfabetical order.

Also LHSSenior and Shadowbat are very well informed.
Heck, even CCVegita and Trumanshower know a thing or two about them... ;)

I'm also interested because of the mature responses to the drama. Other boards would have gone down in flames by now, I think, but not this one. Good going, guys!

I really believe this entire situation is going to make the board a better place.

So someone tell me this...who has the time to go through all 300+ positive feedbacks I have here to make sure there isn't a negative or 2 (which there is not a one btw)? Either we need a separate positive and negative thread...or we need a feedback thread that has a score card like Ebay, or we simply need an area where deals gone bad, suspicious auctions, etc...can be posted and dealt w/ out in the open.

It is really that simple.

I know dude, I was givin you props dawg!

I just think that whole situation probably could have been handled better by both sides, the mods and yourself. Thats why I brought it up, to show that these things do happen, people do try to help. If people are reminded of it and why that situation was the way it was it will help people recognize a better way of going about in the future, both in reporting the problem and actually doing something about it.

TGB, you summed up perfectly exactly what I was getting at when I said " If someone would have posted in Alex's feedback thread about that whole fiasco, would it have made any difference?"

Alex had I dont know how many pages of feedback, who is going to go through it all to find the one or two negative things? And really, when there are that many pages, one would assume that that person was a decent trader or else that many people wouldnt have traded with them.

While browsing through some older posts, I came across this one. Look at post number four in that thread. (Italics due to my dumbass omission.) Take a look at the lot in question, and note the seller. More interestingly, note the buyer, who didn't leave feedback for the seller.

Am I the only one who thinks this smells of my ship's galley on fish day?

The seller was Balucard...so that means it was Alex. Bellatrix isn't Alex though. So I'm not sure where your going with this one.

There IS that weird chunk of tiny incremental bids towards the end of the bid history. Or do people actually bid like that?

I knew exactly where I was going...but I neglected to specify that I was referring to the fourth post in that thread! Should I have caused any confusion or hard feelings, I humbly apologize.

And also note this from the last post in that thread:

I am tempted to...my Green #164 is slighlty faded on one side. And this figure is effing rare, I have only seen him in one other auction during my entire time searching for colors if I can remember correctly, and that auction was the one with the figure I won, faded on one side...dammit! :yucky:

My best guess is that the faded figure he mentioned wound up in a Balucard auction lot.

For all of the bad things he did, Alex was at least good at promoting his auctions. It's unfortunate that his promotional skills came at the expense of his integrity and good name. Because he lost those, he doesn't really have shizznit anymore.

Hmm, okay, i don't see any overtly suspicious bidding when looking at both histories. But i'm not good at that kinda thing, so i might be wrong. Check out the authentic Canadian spelling of "coloured" in that second lot though, man. He really had a pretty well thought-out scam going for a minute there.

Marvin has been dropping some dough on Muscles for a while, so I'm not suspicious of him, but those few low feedback bidders in that lot were suspicious. Especially the on that bid 144, and only had 1 feedback. For all we know Alex had more than just a few ebay accounts to try and make it look less suspicious.

It's funny really. I got my hunch it was Alex after reading the SC 4pack thread from the beginning again. I noticed Alex's first post, something was weird about how he liked all the other sculpts in the pack to me. I started thinking it might be a fake, and Alex was fooling around with everyone with his photoshop skills. Then in his next post he started reassuring everyone that the chances of it being a fraud weren't high...he took some effort to try and calm any suspicion..which is unlike any of us here if we feel something fishy. This post also got me thinking about how Alex is constantly scouring ebay and such for rares. I thought it was unlike him to miss this, hasn't he usually been the first to post about a Super Rare? Then there was his strange concern about the 4pack's back pics. But the final nail I noticed was his 2 day hiatus from the conversation. He made one reply towards the price drop then didn't say a word for 2 days! Especially after the item got removed. There's no way he would have passed up commenting on that! Unless of course he was dead....or involved. And that dear Watson is how I started suspect him of the tomfoolery without any clear solid evidence at all! BULLY!!! BlaBLabLa!!! PoppyCock!!!

Do we have a pipe smoking emoticon? :yucky:

You know what's funny?

I once had one of those rare MUSCLE men hands that was apparently at the center of one of the arforbes' controversies, although mine wasn't purple.

This will require me to share a little childhood moment, but I don't mind in this case.

When a relative died when I was a little kid my parents asked us if we wanted to put something in the coffin. I put in two MUSCLE men, because MUSCLE men had been a prominent and fond memory with that relative.

Well, I was just looking at a picture of me with my sibling when we were little kids. The two MUSCLE men I put in were a green hand and a flesh-colored guy with a sword in one hand and a helmet.

Pretty funny considering the amounts of money and controversy they cause now.

It's "h**n(1)" that's the fishy part, because he's the one who always bids on balucard's auctions...and as jkaris pointed out elsewhere...ONLY balucard's auctions. Take a look at this one as well: http://offer.ebay.co...em=320254872980

and I pointed this one out at the end of a long post before, but here's one of arforbes last auctions. Does anyone else think he had YET another fake account here? That's the only reason I can think of that a set of 235...NO SC...went for over $300. Especially when, as jkaris also pointed out, prices have dropped in general again. http://offer.ebay.co...em=250251112968

And you can see that jkaris and dragonslayer1978 both listed sets of 235 right after that, and lo and behold, they don't even break $230. I'm really starting to think that an honest deal was the exception for that SOB.

And going back to one of KM's very first notions in this thread, I do agree that he will probably need to sell more now that he's been cut off from here, and he's not going to be able to use his arforbes account to do most of that. This is going to play out strange on ebay in the future. He's going to have to pull out another fake account out of his ass. Or, I suspect he will manage to recruit someone else outside of the community (family?) to front an account for him.

UPDATE: As if he sensed the need to hammer the point home for me: he just listed a set of 235 for sale last night and it's a BIN of $235...not an auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/...em=260248480689 Gee, if I just sold a full set honestly for a record price, I sure as hell wouldn't limit myself by knocking over $100 off of that price in the next auction. But, I guess he doesn't think he'll be able to pull another shill so soon. Seriously, does anyone know who got scammed on that last auction?

Yep, the winner of that one was an rforbes only bidder, which means the 2nd highest bidder got a 2nd chance. More than likely, he won;t bite. I have had a couple where the auction went pretty high ($260+) and the 2nd chancers never bit. They get caught up in bidding and realize after the fact that they can just wait for the next one.

Given the level of effort Alex put into scamming, that seems entirely reasonable.

It is also possible that he might have been trying to raise the "perceived value" of flesh sets for future sales. Who knows. Alex was definitely an enigma.
