In the mail this week!
Early 80's Deadstock Popy Mini Sofubi
Unopened box of early 80's Kinnikuman Pika Pika Mini Cards
Lot of Morinaga Kinkeshi (Larger than standard Kinkeshi and super stretchy).
Knockoff Kinnikuman and Terryman
If anyone is interested, I have a good friend in Japan that can hook you up with vintage Kinnikuman and keshi items like the stuff shown above. He works in the vinyl toy industry, and is a major keshi collector.
I am in the process of helping him set up an account on LRG, and we will be starting a thread soon. I have known him for a number of years, and have hung out with him in both the US and Japan.
Some of the best pieces in my collections are items that he has found for me...

Finally decided to go for a GPK series 2 repro set from Eric and it arrived a couple days ago (along with Beetle Punk and Mutant Dungeon Bastard)! They are so awesome. I'm even happier with them than I thought I'd be.

Booooo repro's. What kind of material does he use to cast? Do they float in water?
Such a fine line with making repros to look like original super rares. All it does is lead to problems in the collecting world.
Purple claw anyone?

Rubber (a lot stronger and they bounce), and no they dont float.
It's not really a problems since the ones buying my figures would never buy a real one, and if you know anything about series 2s you would be able to see the difference in a second. My figures are poured, not injected. So if you look at the bottom of the feet you have your answer.

Ya,to a CT expert I'm sure theres alot of diffrences in comparison. But my concern is people passing them off in auctions looking to make $$. Recently there was an auction of mixed LRG's that had a custom Mouth Phil (Clonewars I think) in it and they made no indication it was a repro. Its shit like that, that I'm concerned about. Repros/customs/bootlegs of original RARE pieces in original or hard to find colors tend to bring out the shadiness in people.Rubber (a lot stronger and they bounce), and no they dont float.

yeah that was Retro, and he fixed it once someone asked about it. I can see that, but Ive been selling these for almost a year now and there hasnt been any problems. There has to be some faith in this community and who i sell to.
and most of the colors I have done have been different than Novo colors, even the figures I did for frank are neon colors, and are pretty different from a regular novo color. TOPPS went after me for everything i was doing, casting these, and cast the ones I SCULPTED MYSELF (Grim Jim and Sitting Adam).
All has been addressed months and months ago when I first started (you are late to the party on all of that). You will have to go to the UG to hear from anyone with a negative stance on it. Mostly people who want to keep the prices up high and see my customs as taking money out of their greedy pockets. Im sharing sculpts with people who would never have gotten a series 2 because of their inflated prices.
